Around 10 p.m.
Cheng Wei drove Jiang Yue and Pei Huai back.
Jiang Yue saw Lu Jingnian, who was in a wheelchair, waiting at the gate before she even got out of the car.
"I'm going back now."

"Did you just finish your rehabilitation?"

Lu Jingnian nodded, "Something came up today, so I'm a little late."
"You're in so much pain, why are you sitting at the door? Why didn't you ask Song Gang to take you back to your room to rest?" Jiang Yue looked at him with a mixture of heartache and anger.
"I want to wait for you to come back. Since you won't let me follow you, I just want to wait for you to come back here."
He didn't dare tell Jiang Yue that he had actually gone to see her secretly that afternoon.
"Your legs hurt so much right now, quickly have Song Gang come and take you back to rest."
Jiang Yue asked.
She knew Lu Jingnian definitely didn't live here, because there was no room for him downstairs, and he couldn't go upstairs in his wheelchair.
Yesterday, when he went to his room, Jiang Yue guessed that Song Gang had carried him up.

"It hurts." Lu Jingnian was telling the truth; he wasn't lying to her. It really hurt, but he was already used to it.
Hearing him say it hurt, Jiang Yue sighed, stopped struggling, and then asked him, "How do you usually relieve the pain when you're in pain?"
"Just bear with it, it'll pass."
As Lu Jingnian spoke, he hugged Jiang Yue even tighter, "Yueyue, please don't use Pei Huai to upset me, okay?"
You can do anything to me, hit me, yell at me, stab me a few times, just please don't use other men to spite me, okay?
His voice was weak and aggrieved, even tinged with sobs.

Jiang Yue couldn't see the expression on Lu Jingnian's face, but she could tell from his tone that he was genuinely afraid this time.
