Jiang Yue looked at Duan Suyao's bulging belly, her eyes full of smiles, "I haven't congratulated you yet, but congratulations to your brother and sister-in-law, you're going to be parents soon."
Duan Suyao smiled and pulled her to sit down. "Thank you for your congratulations. Your brother and I didn't expect to have a child so suddenly."
My pregnancy was a bit unstable for a while, so I didn't get to visit you in Kyoto after I came back. Thankfully, everything is fine now.
"Is the pregnancy unstable?"
Jiang Yue asked with concern, "What happened?"
"I didn't know I was pregnant at first. I had a fight with someone and accidentally twisted my back. I only found out I was pregnant when I went for a checkup. But because of the injury, my stomach was always uncomfortable. The doctor told me not to move and to stay in bed to protect the pregnancy."
So we didn't go home at first, and only came back with my older brother and me when we felt better.
At the time, they didn't know if the baby could be saved, so they didn't tell their family.
