"Yueyue, why are you out here?"
Caught peeping, Duan Suyao felt extremely guilty and looked at Jiang Yue with a fawning expression.

Lu Jingnian lost a lot of blood this time and was very weak. He had talked so much with Jiang Yue earlier and was feeling unwell. He was lying in bed with his eyes closed, pretending to sleep.

Duan Suyao also said, "Yes, Yueyue, I owe Battalion Commander Lu my life. You and we don't need to be polite. If there's anything we need you to do, just let us know."
Seeing the tacit understanding between the two, Jiang Yue smiled and nodded, "Alright, we're all family, so I won't stand on ceremony with you."
"Brother, I heard Yaoyao hasn't rested since she got back last night. Why don't you take her home and rest? I'll be fine here. If I need anything, I'll call you and ask you to come over."
Jiang Yue wanted to create some private space for the two of them since they had finally managed to meet.
"I'm all alone..." Duan Suyao didn't want Jiang Zheng to take her back. She wanted Jiang Zheng to stay and help Jiang Yue take care of Lu Jingnian. After all, Lu Jingnian was a big man who was nearly 1.9 meters tall. Jiang Yue was so small and thin. She was afraid that Jiang Yue wouldn't be able to support Lu Jingnian.
Before Duan Suyao could finish speaking, Jiang Zheng pressed her head down, interrupting her.
Jiang Zheng knew that Duan Suyao hadn't had a proper rest in a long time, and even if Jiang Yue hadn't said it, he would have let Duan Suyao go back and rest first.
"Okay, I'll take Yaoyao back to the compound first, and I'll come back in a bit."
