After finishing breakfast, Jiang Yue left the hotel with Yao Hua, Chun Tao, and Liu Gang.
He didn't look at Lu Jingnian at all the time, treating him like a complete stranger.
After leaving the hotel, Jiang Yue told Chun Tao and Liu Gang to go ahead with the tasks she had assigned, and then Jiang Yue took Yao Hua to the wholesale market.
The fabric they bought yesterday wasn't enough, so they went to buy some more this morning, and that should be enough. This afternoon, they'll have Liu Gang take the fabric to the post office and mail it back to City A.
When they were almost at the wholesale market, Yao Hua finally couldn't help but speak up.
"Yueyue, Lu..."
Before Yao Hua could finish speaking, Jiang Yue interrupted her, "Hua Hua, remember that you didn't see anything just now. We came to S City to choose fabrics and discuss cooperation. Don't worry about anything else, and don't ask any questions."
The closer we get to Lu Jingnian, the more careful we must be.
Seeing Jiang Yue's extremely serious expression, Yao Hua immediately understood. "I understand. Let's hurry up and choose some fabric."
Not daring to ask any more questions about Lu Jingnian, Yao Hua and Jiang Yue quickly went to the wholesale market.
The two spent the entire morning shopping, only returning around lunchtime, followed by a young male boss who had also delivered fabric.
The young boss, Jin Bei, wore black-rimmed glasses. Standing at 1.85 meters tall, he was tall and robust. He was dressed in the most fashionable jeans and leather jacket, and carried two fertilizer bags filled with cloth on his shoulders, making him quite eye-catching.
When Jiang Yue came in, she ran into Lu Jingnian and the others who were about to leave. They seemed to be waiting for someone and were standing in the hotel lobby.
As soon as Jiang Yue brought Jin Bei in, the group of people looked over, mainly at Jin Bei.
Lu Jingnian glanced at Jiang Yue casually, but Jiang Yue ignored him, acting as if they didn't exist, and turned to talk to the tall man who had followed her back.
"Alright, leave the things here and our people will move them up in a bit. Thank you for your help, Mr. Jin. I have other things to attend to, so I can't treat you to tea this time, but I'll make it up to you next time."
Jiang Yue said politely to Jin Bei, after all, he had worked hard to carry the fabric for them all the way.
"Mr. Jiang, why are you being so polite with me again? Didn't we agree on the way here that we'd be good friends from now on? Since we're friends, what's a little favor? You're new to S City, so you must not be familiar with it yet. I'll show you around these next few days."
Jin Bei is a tough guy, and since he needs Jiang Yue's help, he definitely won't just leave like that.
Jiang Yue has a good temper and rich experience, and she is used to Jin Bei's persistent behavior, so she is not angry. However, Yao Hua couldn't help herself.
"Can't you have any shame? Who said we're friends with you? We don't need you to keep us company. Just leave."
Yao Hua had never seen such a shameless person. After she and Yueyue bought fabric at the wholesale market, the owner promised to deliver the fabric to their hotel. But then this guy suddenly appeared and insisted that he would deliver it.
So he took over the job from the boss, carrying two bags of fabric and chattering all the way, insisting that Yueyue teach him how to make polyester fabric. Yueyue refused, but he didn't give up and kept pestering them until they arrived at the hotel.
Yao Hua had never seen a man who talked so much. He was so talkative that her ears were practically calloused from listening to him the whole way.
"Don't be angry, little sister. It's my fault, it's all my fault."
Jin Bei wasn't angry when Yao Hua said that to him; after all, he needed her help.
"Who's your sister? Don't call me that." Yao Hua was speechless. If it weren't for the fact that this person had helped them carry the fabric all the way, she would have asked the hotel staff to kick him out.
"Boss Jin."
Jiang Yue patted Yao Hua's hand reassuringly, and said to Jin Bei with some helplessness, "I know you want to make the kind of polyester fabric and printing process I mentioned, but you also said that your factory only has textile machines that make cotton fabric. Those machines can't make polyester, so it's no use even if I go there."
“I know.” Jin Bei smiled ingratiatingly at Jiang Yue. “I overheard you talking to Boss Liu at the wholesale market just now, and I realized you know a lot.”
As he spoke, Jin Bei scratched his head sheepishly, "Actually, my textile factory hasn't started operating yet. The textile machine I mentioned to you was a used one I bought from another factory."
Yao Hua was stunned. "Your factory isn't even up and running yet, what do you want my sister to do there?"
Jin Bei was even more embarrassed. "I don't know how to do business, but I really want to open a textile factory. I've been wandering around the wholesale market for several days, trying to find a skilled craftsman to help me."
But those people know a lot about fabrics, though they don't understand textiles at all. What I overheard Yueyue talking to that Boss Liu today made me realize she must know about textiles and how to do business, so I was thinking of having you come to my factory to give me some guidance.”
"I'm not sending you there for nothing. I can pay you. You can have as much as you want."
Jin Bei doesn't lack money; what he lacks is people—people who understand business and textiles. If his textile factory can't open this year, then he'll have to listen to his father and go abroad to study.
"Who gave you permission to call me Yueyue? We don't know you well, so don't call me that. My sister is married." Yao Hua retorted angrily. This person is really annoying.
Jiang Yue nodded in agreement, "Yes, Mr. Jin, we're not familiar with each other, so it's inappropriate for you to call me that."
"And I won't give you any business advice, because I've never run a business myself. If you really want someone to help you, I suggest you go to the job market. We have to go now."
