Chapter 161 Weird Roommate

Jiang Manyue turned around and saw someone coming. She knew that this was the last roommate. Just as she was about to say hello, she heard her speak with some disgust.

"Why is this dormitory so old? Is it safe to live here?"

The new girl looked around the dormitory with an expression that showed she was reluctant to live here.

Everyone in the dormitory felt a little awkward. No one spoke, and there was a strange silence.

The girl walked in a few steps, put the suitcase on the ground, and was followed in by a middle-aged couple.

"Nannan, which bunk do you want to stay in? Mommy will make your bed for you."

The middle-aged couple was carrying a luggage bag that was much heavier than a suitcase. It was bulging and looked like it was filled with bedding or something.

The girl looked around and found that everyone in the dormitory was there, except for one empty bed.

Seeing that the bed was near the window, she became unhappy again.

"Why did you leave this bed for me? I don't like sleeping by the window!"

The girl complained and looked at Wei Tingting who lived in the lower bunk in the middle.

"Classmate, I don't like living by the window. Please switch with me."

The girl spoke as a matter of course, as if Wei Tingting owed her something.

Wei Tingting was not one to be soft-hearted and refused directly, "Classmate, I have already made the bed, I don't want to change it."

The girl's mother also advised, "Nannan, the lower bunk by the window is fine too. It's not so particular. Don't bother your classmates. Mom will make the bed for you."

The girl didn't give up despite her mother's dissuasion. She picked up her luggage and was about to leave in anger. "If you don't want to change, then don't. Can't I ask the teacher to change my dorm?"

The middle-aged couple had no choice but to drop their luggage bags and hurried out to chase the girl.

The roommates left in the dormitory looked at each other and shook their heads.

"Who is this person? So overbearing. If she doesn't like someone, she wants them to change beds with her. If she doesn't like the principal, why not change the principal?"

He Hui is outspoken and speaks her mind directly.

"Anyway, I won't spoil her. If she wants to change dorms, then she can. Living with her will only cause more trouble in the future."

Wei Tingting actually hoped that the girl just now could successfully change her dormitory and not live with them. A person like that who is so fussy and delicate would turn the dormitory upside down.

Jiang Manyue didn't say anything, but although she didn't live in the dormitory often, she always had to come here to rest. If she had a roommate like this sleeping on the lower bunk, there might still be a lot of trouble in the future.

To be honest, Jiang Manyue was not willing to deal with such people, so she also hoped that the girl could successfully change dormitories, at least so that they would not have a grudge against each other because of the bunk issue from today.

The girl and her parents had been gone for a long time without any news. Jiang Manyue didn't know whether she had succeeded or not. She still wanted to know the result.

After a while, Jiang Manyue saw that nothing was wrong and was about to go back, but the girl came back angrily.

As soon as she entered the room, she started complaining again, "Many people haven't registered yet, why can't you change my dormitory? I can't sleep on a bed by the window. How can I sleep in such a bright morning?"

The roommates who were originally chatting fell silent again. No one paid any attention to her. They all turned around and quietly did their own things.

The girl's mother pulled her back and said with an apologetic smile, "Classmates, our daughter is a bit particular. I hope you don't mind."

After all, she was her elder, so Guo Aiju was the first to speak up.

"Auntie, we don't mind. It's okay to be a little particular. Just don't ask everyone to accommodate her particularity, right?"

The girl's mother nodded awkwardly and gently nudged the girl. "Please introduce yourself. Your roommate doesn't even know your name."

The girl, still angry, ignored him and was unwilling to sit on the stool. She turned around and hugged her arms, sulking.

"Well, my daughter's name is Cheng Nana. She's in the English department. I hope you can take good care of her in the future. She's young, just nineteen years old."

At nineteen, she was indeed the youngest in the dormitory, but Cheng Nana's personality was so great that her roommates wanted to stay away from her and no one wanted to have much contact with her.

But since the mother had already said this, everyone felt embarrassed to say no and could only nod perfunctorily.

Seeing everyone being so perfunctory, Mother Cheng knew that they were reluctant in their hearts. She smiled awkwardly and quickly asked Father Cheng to help make the bed and clean up.

Cheng Nana still stood there without moving, letting her parents busy themselves on the bunk, with no intention of helping at all.

He Hui and Wei Tingting, who were sitting on the lower bunk, exchanged glances and sighed silently.

With such a big Buddha in the dormitory, my life will be miserable from now on...

Jiang Manyue saw Cheng's parents busy in the lower bunk and the other roommates didn't say anything. Everyone was very embarrassed, so they simply decided to go home and rest.

Anyway, today is the registration day, there are no classes or activities at school, and she doesn't have to stay in school all the time.

"Well, I'm going home first. The kids are making a lot of noise, and my mother-in-law must be tired looking after them all by herself. There's a welcome party tomorrow morning, right? I'll come over early."

Wei Tingting nodded, "Yes, it starts at nine in the morning, otherwise you can come early and go to the dormitory and we can go together."

Jiang Manyue thought about it and decided to go directly to the dormitory. It would be convenient for everyone to go together.

The next morning, Jiang Manyue took the bus to school early. As soon as she arrived at the dormitory door, she heard a scream.

Jiang Manyue thought something had happened and quickly pushed open the door, only to see Cheng Nana sitting on a stool and breaking down in tears.

Looking at Cheng Nana who was breaking down and crying, and other roommates sitting on the bed, Jiang Manyue was confused. What was she doing so early in the morning?

He Hui, who was in the lower bunk closest to the door, pulled the confused Jiang Manyue to her bunk and made a hushing gesture to her.

Jiang Man Yue asked her with her mouth, "What's wrong?"

He Hui leaned over to her ear and whispered, "He became like this after coming back from the toilet this morning. He's been mad for a long time."

Jiang Manyue still didn't understand. What was there to be mad about after coming back from the toilet?

He Hui whispered again, "It seems like the last person used the toilet and didn't flush it, and she couldn't stand it, so she called all the way from the toilet to the dormitory, and then went crazy there."

Jiang Manyue was stunned. How could she go crazy for such a long time just over such a small thing?

He Hui was helpless. "You have no idea how annoying she is. Last night, she insisted there were rats in the dormitory. She's terrified of rats, and she kept making a fuss until midnight. If the dormitory supervisor hadn't knocked on the door and warned us not to make trouble in the dormitory at night, she wouldn't have stopped."
