Half past six.
Her mother went to pick up Yu Rui from school.
She asked a few questions about the school situation in the car, but didn't mention Zhou Tianqiang at all.
When I got home, my mother brought a big bowl of chicken soup from the kitchen.

When Yu Rui saw her mother start eating, she picked up her chopsticks and ate slowly without asking any questions.

There was a knock on the gate.
Yu Rui put down his chopsticks and was about to get up to open the door, but his mother held him back and said, "Eat quickly! Don't let the chicken soup get cold! I'll go get it."

The mother straightened her clothes and hurried out to open the door.

"Why don't you eat it? You still have half a box of chocolates in your room."
The mother-in-law came out of the kitchen with a bowl of chicken soup and interrupted.
"Xiaotian, the chicken soup is now at the perfect temperature. Drink more."
Zhou Tianqiang quickly stood up and took the chicken soup: "Thank you, Auntie, this chicken soup is so delicious!"
He felt that the bowl in his hand was not hot, so he picked it up and drank half of it.
"Auntie, your cooking skills are much better than my mom's. I can drink two big bowls of this chicken soup."
The mother-in-law's smile widened.
"If you like, drink two more bowls. There's no cooking at home today, so I'll go out and buy some roast duck for you guys to eat first."
Zhou Tianqiang was eager to be alone with Yu Rui, so he immediately stood up and said with a smile, "Sorry to bother you, Auntie."
Yu Rui also stood up: "Mom, I'll go with you."
The mother-in-law glared at Yu Rui and said, "There are guests at home, how can you tease them?"
She immediately put on a smile and looked at Zhou Tianqiang, quietly waving her hand.
Zhou Tianqiang said with great tact, "I'll see Auntie off."
After the two of them left the dining room, the mother-in-law quickly whispered, "Xiaotian, I'm going to be out for two hours. You should seize the opportunity."
Zhou Tianqiang nodded subconsciously.
