All the questions were spinning in her mind.
This feels like a dream, yet so real.
She touched the glass quietly and felt a cool touch.
She twisted her arm again.
"Ouch~" she cried out in pain.
Lin Qingqing saw Xiaomei making small movements out of the corner of her eye. She stood up, pointed at the gene transformer platform and said, "Come here and lie down."
Lin Qingqing looked serious, without her usual smile on her face.
Seeing Xiaomei not moving, she said softly, "Don't think too much. I won't hurt you."
"What is genetic modification?"
Xiaomei thought of the words on the doorplate and asked.
"It will make you more powerful, even more powerful than Director Li, and it won't do you any harm."
