Chapter 8 Arrival in Tibet
It was almost noon when a mother and son got in from their sleeper compartment. Carrying a lot of bags, the child was about 5 or 6 years old.
When they came in, Lin Momo was sleeping on the lower bunk, and Cheng Jinghao was sitting at her feet reading a newspaper.
"Wow, Mom, there's a bed in the carriage." This must be the first time for the child to ride in a sleeper train. He is very curious and keeps touching and looking around.

"It's okay." Lin Momo smiled and shook her head, then stood up and put on her shoes.
"Auntie, I'm sorry." The child bowed to Lin Momo and said sorry.
"You're so polite. Auntie will give you some candy." Lin Momo reached out to Cheng Jinghao, who took out a White Rabbit milk candy from his pocket and handed it to Lin Momo.
Lin Momo glanced at him and finally handed the candy to the child without saying anything.
The child glanced at his mother and saw her nod. He said thank you to Lin Momo and Cheng Jinghao and took the candy.
"Are you going to the army too?" the woman asked, looking at the pockets on Cheng Jinghao's military uniform.
"Yes, I will take my love to join the army." Cheng Jinghao nodded.
"What a coincidence, I am also taking my children to follow the army. We are going to the Central Military Region, and you are?" the soldier's wife asked with a smile.
"Southwest Military Region."

"Battalion Commander." A young man in military uniform came over and took the suitcase from Cheng Jinghao.
"Xu Zhengqing, the company commander of my battalion."

"Okay." Xu Zhengqing nodded and turned his head to look at Cheng Jinghao. When did their battalion commander become so considerate? It turns out that married men are different.
Lin Momo looked at the scenery outside the window. This place was not a bit worse than Beijing. The road was getting more and more remote and difficult to walk on.

An hour later, they arrived at the military district family compound.
"Battalion Commander, here are the keys. I'll go return the car first." Xu Zhengqing sent the two of them out of the yard and returned the keys to Cheng Jinghao.
"Okay." Cheng Jinghao took the key and waited for Xu Zhengqing to leave before opening the gate.
As soon as Lin Momo entered the courtyard, she looked around. The outer courtyard was very large, with a kitchen and a utility room, a place to store firewood, and two large water tanks in the yard. There is a main room with four rooms inside. There is also a backyard with a toilet.
"There is a water shortage in the Tibetan area. I go to fetch water every day," said Cheng Jinghao.
Lin Momo nodded. She didn't care about it. She could use the tap water in her mall space.
Entering the main hall, Cheng Jinghao opened a room.
"We sleep in this room."
"We?" Lin Momo glared and pointed at him, then pointed at herself.
"Do you want everyone to know that our marriage is fake?" Cheng Jinghao looked at her.
"Who has time to observe a couple and see if they sleep in the same bed?" Lin Momo rolled her eyes at him.
"Don't underestimate being a soldier." Cheng Jinghao didn't give her a chance to refuse and directly entered the room carrying two suitcases.
"Kang?" Lin Momo looked at the kang in the room with some curiosity. Are there kangs in Tibetan areas?
"This was done when the house was built. It's too cold here, and most of the locals sleep in blockhouses. I'll get some more firewood in the next few days, and I promise you won't get cold."
