Lu He watched Xu Feiming coaxing the child and smiled happily.
Shen Qiaoyue noticed that Lu He's gaze towards Xu Feiming was strange.
Xu Feiming kissed Da Nian and said gently, "Uncle will go home first. I'll definitely come to pick Da Nian up to watch a movie tomorrow, okay?"
"Okay." Da Nian nodded happily.
After Xu Feiming left Shen Qiaoyue's house, Shen Qiaoyue looked up and stared at Lu He.
"Sister-in-law, I'm going to take a shower first." Before Shen Qiaoyue could speak, Lu He went into the kitchen to see if there was any hot water.
Lu Chen got up early in the morning and boiled water. The weather was slightly cool, and the children needed hot water to wash their faces.
Lu He opened the pot lid and saw that there was enough hot water inside for her to take a bath, so she carried the hot water to the washroom.
Shen Qiaoyue asked, "You really don't eat breakfast?"
"I'm not eating anymore. Fei Ming gave me two eggs this morning," Lu He replied as she took out her clothes from the room to take a shower.
When Lu He caught that fish, she was slapped by its tail. The smell of seawater made her smell fishy all over, so she wanted to wash herself.
Shen Qiaoyue observed Lu He's neck and face and found no marks, so she breathed a sigh of relief.
If this is during the honeymoon phase, things could easily go wrong. As Lu He's sister-in-law, she still needs to keep a close eye on things.
Although Xu Feiming was someone she knew, Shen Qiaoyue still didn't really know what kind of person he was.
Lu He's smile never stopped while she was taking a shower; she was incredibly happy.
Shen Qiaoyue fed the children breakfast, and a little while later Li Xiaoxiao returned from the supply and marketing cooperative with groceries.

“It’s alright, more meat is good too.” Shen Qiaoyue then asked, “Auntie, is this living allowance not enough? I’ll get you some later.”
“Yes, I can reach it. Your second uncle wired me some money a few days ago.” Li Xiaoxiao realized what was happening and asked, “Has Xiaohe gone to the city yet? Should I give her the notebook so she can go get the money?”
"I'm here." Lu He came out of the shower room.
“Perfect timing! Your second uncle sent me a gift and wired me some money. Could you go and pick it up for me later?” Li Xiaoxiao said, then remembered that her notebook was at home. “Wait here, I’ll go get it for you right now.”
Lu He went into her room to tidy herself up, then came out to the yard. She took the dress Yu Qingce had bought for her back to her room, closed the door, and changed into it.

"Sister-in-law, do you think this dress looks good?" Lu He came out of the room and twirled in front of Shen Qiaoyue.
Shen Qiaoyue looked at Lu He and thought that she did look good in the dress.
"Hmm, you're as beautiful as a hundred flowers, but you're too thin." Shen Qiaoyue said with concern, "You know, money is meant to be spent. Don't always think about sending gifts to the children. You work so hard every day, you need to think about yourself, okay?"
"I know, I'm just too tired from work. I eat a lot, like three steamed buns and three eggs in one meal, but I just can't afford to eat that much," Lu He told Shen Qiaoyue without exaggeration.

She stood up, pulled Lu He into the living room, and whispered, "It's not time to get married yet, you absolutely can't..."
"Sister-in-law, I know, don't worry. But I can't tell my brother. I plan to tell him when I get back." Lu He interrupted Shen Qiaoyue's instructions and nodded in response. She also hoped not to tell Lu Chen too soon, as she was afraid that her brother Lu Chen would not agree.

When the ticket was presented to Lu He, she only took the ticket, not the money.
