She no longer has to eat those dry, shriveled steamed buns.
"Hurry up and go, or it'll be gone!" Zhang Juanjuan reminded Shen Qiaoyue helplessly when she saw her expression. "I still have porridge cooking in the pot at home, and Jiansheng is still there. I can't talk to you anymore." Zhang Juanjuan was worried about her child at home and had to go back first.

Then I need to go back and get my lunchbox to go get some spare ribs.

"You take a rest first, I'll stir-fry some vegetables and then we can eat." Lu Chen put on his apron and then squatted down to start a fire.
"I'll do it." Shen Qiaoyue thought that Lu Chen had already done most of the work, so it wouldn't be a problem for her to stir-fry some vegetables. She rolled up her sleeves and started cooking.
Lu Chen said, "I've prepared the ingredients. We can just start a fire and stir-fry them. You've had a long day, so take a rest. Give me the steamed buns you didn't finish at noon, and I'll heat them up for you to eat later."
Shen Qiaoyue took the boxed lunch out of the bag, saying, "I'll just heat up the steamed buns and eat them. You need nutrition."
Lu Chen did not speak again.
Continuing to argue is pointless.
In about ten minutes, the vegetables were ready.
Shen Qiaoyue hadn't eaten enough at noon, so when it was time to eat, she took two bowls from the kitchen to the living room.
The aroma of chicken soup fills the air.
"Lu Chen, this soup smells so good, it has a medicinal aroma." The aroma wafting from the soup is incredibly delicious.
Lu Chen felt inexplicably sad when he didn't hear Shen Qiaoyue call him "Brother Shen".
As she took the bowl to ladle out the soup, she covered her disappointment and replied, "There's a woman in the family compound who runs a traditional Chinese medicine clinic.
