"Come in, I'm all alone here. Xiaohua has gone to work." Liu Xinlan came out of the second floor. She shared a room with Chen Xiaohua, with two beds, two desks, and a dining table.
The toilet and bathroom are both on the right side at the far end of the second floor.
Xu Qianli entered after receiving Liu Xinlan's invitation.
To protect Liu Xinlan's reputation, the door was not closed.
"I heard from Xiaohua that you weren't feeling well, so I made you some soup, cooked some white rice, and stir-fried some greens. Would you like some?" Xu Qianli said as he opened the box.
Chicken soup, braised pork ribs, stir-fried bok choy, and a serving of white rice.
The food smelled delicious, and Liu Xinlan, who had been starving all day, said, "Then I won't be polite. I'll pay you back for the meal later."
He picked up the spoon and started eating.
Liu Xinlan took a small sip of the soup; it was delicious!
Seeing that Liu Xinlan was enjoying her meal, Xu Qianli said, "We're all friends, there's no need to take this to heart."
He glanced guiltily at Liu Xinlan.
Liu Xinlan, who was eating with her head down, was still stunned for a moment after hearing Xu Qianli's words, still unhappy.
"Xinlan, you eat first. I have something to tell you after you finish eating." Xu Qianli saw that Liu Xinlan had stopped eating, so he quickly told her to continue eating. "It's cold in this weather, and the soup will get cold quickly. You won't be able to eat it then. You already have a stomach problem, so you can't eat cold things."
Liu Xinlan ate silently, then looked up and saw Xu Qianli staring at her. She asked, "Have you eaten?"
Xu Qianli chuckled and said, "I ate. I ate in the cafeteria. I heard from Xiao Hua that you weren't feeling well and were sick, so I bought some meat and cooked it in Lu Chen's kitchen."
Liu Xinlan blushed instantly upon hearing this.
Chen Xiaohua actually said she was sick!
