"Okay, Aunt Wen, I'll have Xiaoli go over tonight." Shen Qiaoyue answered the phone with a smile.
Xia Xiaoli's heart skipped a beat when she heard her name mentioned.
"Okay, thank you so much, Auntie," Shen Qiaoyue said.
Then he hung up the phone.
"Sister Qiaoyue, what happened?" Xia Xiaoli asked immediately.
Jiang Jinyao also nervously glanced over, and the other three people looked at Xia Xiaoli as well.
"It's nothing. It's just that Aunt Wenru is an orthopedic expert. She just got back from studying out of town and is waiting for you in the hospital department at 7 pm tonight. She wants you to go to the hospital for a detailed examination after get off work. She only has three days left because she has several surgeries coming up and basically no time to deal with other things. So she took advantage of the fact that she just got back today and has time to check on you. She has already talked to Xinlan and asked her to give you a referral and take an X-ray. Please expedite the process so you can get the results tomorrow."
Shen Qiaoyue knew that Xia Xiaoli felt inferior because of her foot problem, and that she felt like she was not as good as others.
"You want to take a look at my feet?" Xia Xiaoli asked in surprise.
"Yes." Shen Qiaoyue nodded. "Your cousin asked me to keep an eye out for you. My sister told Aunt Wen about your situation and then called my office directly to ask me to pass it on to you. Just go to the hospital to see Xinlan after work."
"Okay, thank you, Sister Qiaoyue." Xia Xiaoli stood up excitedly and bowed to express her gratitude.
Shen Qiaoyue said, "I'm just helping to pass on a few words. There's no need to thank me. Whether your foot can be cured or not, we'll have to wait for the test results to come out."
"I know, I still want to thank Sister Qiaoyue." Xia Xiaoli knew that as long as there was a glimmer of hope, she didn't want to give up.
