Shen Qiaoyu opened her eyes wide and stared at Lu Chen.
This was the first time he had seen his sister's husband.
He walked out of the door and looked Lu Chen up and down.
"You're wearing a suit!" Shen Qiaoyu asked curiously.
Lu Chen explained, "I accompanied the leader to several countries abroad, responsible for protecting the leader's safety."
"You're really lucky, kid. I heard that most of the people who participated in the protection stayed in Beijing!" Shen Qiaoyu said tentatively.
Lu Chen glanced at Shen Qiaoyue, then said to Shen Qiaoyu, "Brother, I'm a soldier, and I'm more used to staying in the army. Life in Beijing isn't really suitable for me."
Shen Qiaoyu patted Lu Chen on the shoulder with satisfaction, "You kid, you missed the chance for a promotion and a raise!" Although he said that, Shen Qiaoyu knew very well that staying in the army was the safest option in the current situation.

Qian Luoshui chimed in, "Alright, Xiaoyue, I want some late-night snacks. Your brother made these on the way. Would you like some too?"
Shen Qiaoyue pursed her lips, suppressing a laugh; she was actually hungry too.
Glancing at Shen Qiaoyu, Shen Qiaoyue dared not speak.
"If you want to eat, just say you want to eat. What's with that expression? Do you think your older brother won't let you eat?" Shen Qiaoyu said disdainfully to Shen Qiaoyue.
