Chapter 23 Watching a Movie Together



We arrived at the movie theater and bought tickets for five people.

They sat in a row, eating snacks and drinking soda.

The movie started soon, and everyone was very quiet.

It consisted of black and white images that got everyone's blood pumping.

Two hours after the movie ended, I went to the restroom and then went to a state-run restaurant for dinner.

The five people sat together, eating, without saying a word.
