"Auntie, can you take me to Huang Xiaomei's house?"
Aunt Wu readily agreed and took her to find Huang Xiaomei's home.
"Secretary Shen, what do you want to talk to Huang Xiaomei about?"
"Nothing serious, just came to see her."
Aunt Wu looked at her suspiciously. What was so interesting about Huang Xiaomei that was worth Secretary Shen making a special trip to see her?
"Did Huang Xiaomei commit any crime?"
"No, I just have something to discuss with her."
Huang Xiaomei works in the fields every day, and only when winter comes and there is not much work to do in the brigade does she have some free time.
Aunt Wu couldn't figure out how she knew Shen An Nian, and what Shen An Nian wanted from her.
Seeing Aunt Wu's curious face, Shen Annian was afraid that she would ask more questions, so she asked her about the situation of the educated youth in the village, focusing on Chen Ze's situation.
According to Aunt Wu's description, Chen Ze was handsome, could read and write, and could play the harmonica, so he was quite popular among the girls in the brigade.
When he arrived at Huang Xiaomei's house, Shen Annian had almost grasped the situation he wanted to know.

Shen Annian looked at the girl who was washing clothes and was a little surprised. It was so cold, but they asked a pregnant woman to wash clothes. Even her hands were frozen red.
Huang Xiaomei's parents already knew that she was pregnant, so why did they treat her like this?
“Comrade Huang Xiaomei, I’m Shen Annian. I came here specifically to tell you something.”
Aunt Wu: "Xiaomei, this is Secretary Shen from the commune."
Huang Xiaomei immediately stood up straight, but because she stood up too quickly, her vision went dark and she staggered back several steps.
Shen An Nian was startled and quickly stopped the bike to help her, "Are you okay?"

How can a cousin's wife come here to discuss her cousin's marriage?
She had seen Shen Anyian when he brought people to the parade, and she thought Shen Anyian was very impressive at the time.
Now that Shen An Nian was standing in front of her, she had a completely different feeling. She felt that Shen An Nian was a little scary at the moment.
"It's hard for me to discuss this with you. I'll ask my parents to come and talk to you."
"That's fine too. Call your parents over and we can talk it out at once."

Huang Xiaomei stood up and said, "I'll go call my parents."
Shen Anyian looked at her fleeing figure, and his guess was almost confirmed.
When Huang Xiaomei heard that she was coming to discuss marriage, she did not show any surprise or shyness, but was very frightened instead.
This made her even more certain that Huang Xiaomei did not like Qin Zhengkai.
It seems that Qin Zhengkai is really a sucker.
Less than ten minutes later, Huang's father and mother returned and greeted her with a smile on their faces, "Secretary Shen, are you really here to discuss Xiaomei and Zhengkai's marriage?"
"Of course it's true, how could it be false?"
