The soldiers were plowing the soil outside. When they smelled the aroma coming from the kitchen, they swallowed hard.
I don’t know what my sister-in-law cooked, but it smells so good that it makes me hungry.
They all stretched their necks to look towards the kitchen and could hardly hold back their drooling.
After a while, Shen Anyui asked them to go eat.
They washed their faces and hands, and cleaned the mud off their shoes before entering the main room.
There were two plates of vegetables and a plate of fried eggs on the table.

The soldiers did not dare to sit down because they saw that the three large bowls on the table were already filled with rice.
