Although Qin Zhengqi heard the doctor say at the county hospital that Shen Annian might be pregnant with twins, he still had doubts in his heart.
When they went to the city hospital and did an ultrasound, the doctor said the same thing, so he had to believe it.
"Doctor, is my wife really pregnant with twins?"
"Of course they're twins. Look for yourself. Two embryos, two germs. It's very obvious."
Qin Zhengqi and Shen Anyan stared at the blurry image on the monitor for a long time but couldn't make out anything.
Seeing their bewildered expressions, the doctor pointed to two small dots on the top and said, "Look here, and here, it's clear, they're twins."
The doctor printed out the results and asked them to show them to the attending doctor.
As soon as Shen Annian came out of the B-ultrasound room, he hurried to the toilet.
She touched her belly and still felt nothing, but there were indeed two babies in her belly.
I thought it was just one child, but it turned out to be two little kids. What should I do?
I'm totally unprepared.
She and Qin Zhengqi went to see the attending doctor, who told them that Shen Annian's data were all pretty good, but they should pay attention to supplementing their nutrition and getting a good rest in the future.
After coming out of the hospital, Qin Zhengqi was afraid that someone would bump into her, so he supported her all the way and kept her within his arms.
Shen Annian was still a little dizzy, "What are we going to do now?"
"Let's go to the department store and buy some nourishing food for you." The doctor said she needed to take good care of her body.
"Should I call home and tell my parents about this?"
Qin Zhengqi thought for a moment and nodded, "Okay, let's go to the post office and make a phone call now."
When Father Qin heard that Shen An was pregnant with twins, he was stunned for three seconds.
The third child was the last one to get married among the children. He got married at the age of 26. Who would have thought that after he got married, his daughter-in-law became pregnant with twins.
No one in their family has ever had twins for several generations.
"Okay, it's good to be pregnant. Is it a boy or a girl?"
"It's still too early, just over two months, and we don't know if it's a boy or a girl yet."

Qin's father is a man of few words, and Qin Zhengqi talks even less. The two of them talked for a few sentences and then ran out of things to talk about.
Qin Zhengqi gave the phone to Shen Annian, and Shen Annian asked Qin's father, "Dad, has anyone in our family ever had twins?"
Father Qin thought about it. In his grandfather's generation, there were twins. He didn't expect that after so many generations, twins could still be conceived.
"Grandpa Zhengqi has twin brothers. You are very lucky. If you have anything to do in the future, just tell Zhengqi and let him take care of it."
"Dad, don't worry, I won't be polite to him."
Father Qin obviously talked a lot more when chatting with Shen Annian. The two talked for almost ten minutes before Shen Annian hung up the phone.
"I didn't expect Dad to be so considerate and understand the hardships of pregnancy for women."
In this era, many men are somewhat chauvinistic and don't care about their wives and children at all.
But Qin's father is different from them. He knows how hard it is for a woman to be pregnant.
And during the time they were together, she observed that Qin's father was not like other men who were hands-off bosses.
"Dad has five children, so he should understand a little bit."
"That's not necessarily true. There are many people who have given birth to seven or eight children, but I haven't seen them understand how hard it is to be a wife. It has nothing to do with how many children you have; it depends on the person."

Qin Zhengqi called the army and learned that the army was preparing to go to the county town to purchase things, so he asked the supply truck to wait for him in the county town.
After paying the phone bill, the two went to the department store to buy things.
What they didn't know was that Qin's mother and father almost had a quarrel because of this phone call.
Mother Qin was of course happy to know that Shen An was pregnant with twins.
She was angry that she didn't receive the call.
Such a big thing happened, but this old man didn't even ask her to come over to answer the phone. She was so angry just thinking about it.
Qin's father also felt that he was wronged. Wasn't she busy working in the food factory? How could she have time to answer the phone?
Seeing that he had done something wrong and was still making excuses, not knowing where he had gone wrong, Qin's mother was so angry that she didn't speak to him all night.
