Manager Peng was furious when he saw Director Li act as if it had nothing to do with him and showed no remorse.
"I heard you were going to ask for favors from others, is that true?"
Director Li was like a cat whose tail was stepped on, and he almost jumped up.
"No, why would I ask for favors from others, uncle? I have always remembered what you said.
Did someone say nonsense in front of you, saying that I won’t accept their goods today because their goods are not up to standard and I refused to accept them.
Uncle, I have worked here for so long, how could I do such a thing? "
Manager Peng slammed the table in anger, "They arrived at around 10 o'clock, and you inspected the goods at around 3 o'clock in the afternoon. What else do you have to explain?"
Director Li trembled slightly and wanted to open his mouth to explain, but when he met Manager Peng's gaze, he dared not speak.
Manager Peng took a deep breath and said, "You'd better take care of yourself. If I hear such a thing again, I will not tolerate it."
Director Li was horrified and was about to plead for himself, but Manager Peng waved him away.
Director Li had no choice but to say, "Uncle, I'll be leaving first," and left the office.
The matter was settled, and Director Fang breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness Manager Peng is sensible, otherwise our mushrooms would be ruined."
"Yes, Manager Peng is quite fair."
She said it was "fair" because Manager Peng was selfish and did not investigate Director Li's extortion and gift-giving.
If he were truly so selfless, he would have dealt with this matter at once.
But he only asked Director Fan to go with them to receive the goods, and did not mention anything else, which meant that he did not intend to pursue the matter.
But this was their unit's business, and she had no way of interfering.
As long as they can solve their own problems, that's good enough.
Director Fang: "It's getting late. Shouldn't we go to the textile factory's staff quarters and tell that woman to come work with us?"
"You can handle this matter by yourself. I have to go to other shopping malls to sell our nylon fabrics."
Shen Anyian raised his wrist to check the time, "Let's meet at the station entrance at six o'clock."
"Okay, just be careful."
"I understand. Don't worry."
Shen Anyian went to the bus stop, found a department store in the same direction, and went straight to the fabric counter.
The Chinese New Year is less than two months away, and the fabric counter is doing very good business, with many people scrambling to buy fabrics.
Since the fabrics are selling so well, their materials must be in great demand.
Seeing that there were not many customers at the counter, she walked up and asked, "Comrade, do you accept fabric?"
The salesperson suddenly heard her words and looked up at her.
She only saw people coming to buy cloth, but had never seen anyone want to sell cloth to her.
Shen Anyian met her surprised gaze and raised the nylon cloth in his hand.
"This is nylon fabric produced by our textile factory. It's of very high quality, stain-resistant and wear-resistant. It's perfect for making winter clothes."
There were three people waiting to buy fabric in front of the counter. When they heard her words, they all looked at her.
"Comrade, is that nylon cloth in your hand?"
Shen Annian nodded, "Yes, this is the cloth produced by our army's textile factory."
She deliberately emphasized the word "troops". Sure enough, after hearing her words, the female comrades became more interested.
The quality of things produced by the army is of course guaranteed.
"Are you from the army? The army has a textile factory?"
"I'm a military family member of the Third Regiment of the Agricultural Reclamation Division. Our unit has a textile factory and a garment factory, and the quality of the products we produce is guaranteed."
"Can you show us?"
Shen Annian generously handed over the cloth in his hand. The women touched it and found it was indeed very solid.
Another woman rubbed the cloth with both hands and saw no wrinkles. She immediately asked, "How much do you want for this cloth?"
Shen Annian: “This…we don’t sell retail. I came here to discuss business with the department store. You can buy it here in the future.”
"We may not be able to grab the goods by then, so sell some to me first."
"Yes, sell some to us."
Shen Anyian really didn't expect that someone would buy cloth from her at the scene, but she couldn't sell this cloth.
She also planned to take the product to other shopping malls to sell it. If one or two people came to her to buy it, how would she be able to sell it to them?
"I'm so sorry, I really can't sell this material."
Shen Anyian looked at the salesperson standing at the counter with a smile, "Comrade, can I see your director? I want to talk to him about the fabric."
The salesperson took a look at the cloth she was holding, then looked at the customer next to her who was staring at her eagerly, pursed his lips, and said, "Come with me."
Shen Anyian held the cloth and followed behind her.
The salesperson took her to the third floor and asked her to wait in the corridor while he went into the office alone.
Not long after, the salesperson came out and said, "Our Director Gao is in there, please go in."
"Thank you very much."
Shen Annian knocked on the door and walked in. He saw a tall, thin, middle-aged man sitting behind the desk. His eyes were bright and he was obviously a shrewd man.
She smiled and greeted people, "Hello, Director Gao, I am Shen Annian, the business manager of Hengxing Textile Factory. I came here to talk to you about something."
She gave herself the title of business manager to highlight her position in the textile factory.
Only when people of equal status come to discuss business will the other party feel valued and feel the need to continue the discussion.
If the person who comes is just a small salesperson who has no decision-making ability and needs to ask his superiors for everything, then it would be useless to talk to him.
