Chapter 36 A pair of robbers even stole the food

Everyone thought there would be fresh dishes for dinner today, so they were excited when they entered the cafeteria. However, when they saw that it was still the same dishes as before, they became unhappy and insisted that the kitchen staff was hiding something.

The matter became more and more serious, and finally Political Commissar Wang was also attracted.

Wei Aiguo could only tell Jun Jing about his request and the food tasting in the afternoon.

"You mean, five people ate four full basins of seafood? How big were the basins?" Political Commissar Wang sniffed the lingering aroma and inexplicably began to salivate...

"Well, the bowl we use to carry the food..."

Wei Aiguo felt that today's incident might cause trouble for Juntuan...

"Does it taste good?" Political Commissar Wang asked, sitting upright.

Wei Aiguo nodded reluctantly.

"Okay! Then add those dishes to the menu! What we have in abundance on South Island is seafood!"

Political Commissar Wang stood up as he spoke. Before Wei Aiguo could react, thunder exploded in his ears. "Go get someone to buy some and make some for everyone to try first so they can get used to it."

"Yes!" Wei Aiguo saluted and immediately asked someone to buy it.

It was almost eight o'clock when the boat returned to South Island.

Bailu wanted to eat seafood, so Junjing took her to buy it.

However, I didn’t see any fishermen selling seafood…

Bai Lu was so hungry that she was sticking her stomach to Jun Jing's back, and she wanted to bite Jun Jing's arm.

He was listless and walked like a wandering soul.

"Carry you?" Jun Jing knew that the little girl was unhappy because she was hungry, so he bent down and knelt.

Bai Lu sniffed and climbed onto his back.

If you can avoid walking, don't walk. It will only waste your legs.

"We have nothing to eat tonight... You said you wouldn't let me go hungry."

Jun Jing walked very fast, but his breath was still steady when he spoke, "No, I'll take you home and I'll get you something to eat."

Bai Lu thought that she was going to be hungry, so she would prepare some dry food at home so that she could eat at any time.

As soon as the two returned to the military compound, they smelled a fragrant and spicy smell.

Bai Lu sniffed, "Spicy crab! Braised mixed fish! Who did you give the recipe to yesterday? They've bought up all the fishermen's seafood, leaving us with nothing to eat!"

Bai Lu made a fuss and got off Jun Jing's back.

Jun Jing: ...

Political Commissar Wang happened to run into Jun Jing and the others, carrying a plate. He came up to greet them, "You're back so late! I missed the cafeteria's delicious dishes, but the seafood you made using Wei Aiguo's recipe is really delicious! Where did you get the recipe? Give me a copy so I can ask your aunt to learn from it later!"

Bai Lu's eyes turned into knives, cutting Jun Jing into pieces at a speed of hundreds of times per second.

Jun Jing felt a sharp pain on his back, not daring to even look at Bai Lu. He gritted his teeth and replied to Political Commissar Wang, "Who bought all the seafood?"

Political Commissar Wang sensed something was wrong and immediately shifted the blame, saying awkwardly, "Wei Aiguo."

He didn't even mention that it was the second time he asked someone to buy it...

Wei Aiguo!

He hadn't even tasted the dishes on the menu! He just served them directly to the cafeteria table?!

Jun Jing reached out and took the plate from Political Commissar Wang's hand. "Uncle, we are all family. Lulu and I are still hungry. If you come to the cafeteria, you must have eaten your fill."

If you call someone uncle, it's bound to be bad news.

He turned around and said to Bai Lu, "Go home."

Bai Lu was starving, her eyes fixed on the fish on the plate in Jun Jing's hand. She trotted beside Jun Jing, taking deep and shallow steps. Jun Jing reminded her, "Watch the road, don't fall."

Political Commissar Wang held his hands in the air and was stunned for a long time. Was he a bad boy?

As soon as the door opened, Jun Jing put the plate on the table, then took the thermos and poured water into the basin.

Bai Lu went straight to the kitchen to get chopsticks, sat at the table and started eating...

Jun Jing and the others came over to wash their hands first. When they turned around, they found that someone was eating fish. The little girl was really hungry and called softly, "Come and wash your hands. Wash them before eating."

Why would Bai Lu pay attention to him?

There's food to eat after washing your hands? He must have tricked himself into washing his hands and then eating it himself!

Jun Jing saw that she was eating in a hurry and was afraid that she would get something stuck in her throat. "I won't eat it, I'll save it for you. Come and wash your hands. You've been out all day touching things here and there."

Bai Lu turned to look at him and felt that his eyes were quite sincere, so she stood up and washed her hands.

After washing with clean water, Jun Jing dried her with a towel and said, "Eat it. Don't be too hasty. Be careful of the thorns."

While Jun Jing was pouring water, there was a knock on the door, "Jun Tuan!"

While Bai Lu was debating whether to open the door, the man walked towards the door with his long legs.

Chen Yuanjie casually handed over a small porcelain basin, "Jun Tuan, my mom asked me to come over to deliver the steamed noodles. She said that if it weren't for you, she wouldn't be able to buy such good cowpeas, so she bought some extra so she could make more steamed noodles!"

Jun Jing raised his eyebrows towards Bai Lu, "You won't starve, will you?"

Jun Jing took the noodles and said, "Thank you, Auntie, for me."

Because she was hungry, Bailu thought everything was delicious.

Looking at the already cleaned fish, Jun Jing licked his slightly dry lips. He had snatched the fish back but was not even given a taste of the soup.

Aunt Wang brought over quite a lot of steamed noodles, more than half a basin. Jun Jing placed the basin on the table and said, "Eat first. If you're still hungry after eating, go to Aunt Wang's... I'll buy her some meat tomorrow."

"You want to go out?"

Bailu asked with a mouth full of braised noodles.

"Go take care of something."

"You ask me when I'll be back, but I have no idea. You have to go out and find food for braised eggplant and braised chicken." Bai Lu raised her eyebrows.

Jun Jing glanced at the stewed noodles in Bai Lu's arms and sighed. "I have something to do outside. I'll be back tonight to make porridge. I'll be back before 9:30."

Jun Jing said this, lit the fire in the house and went out.

Bai Lu subconsciously glanced at the kitchen door.

Make porridge? There's no rice at home, so I use my mind to make air porridge? Then I lowered my eyes to look at the noodles in the bowl. Should I leave a mouthful for him?

She had to find an opportunity to take out the seasonings in the system and then buy some noodles to keep at home.
