Chapter 435 Is This Auntie?

When the truck drove to the gate of a heavily guarded military compound with two guards standing at the door, she became even more nervous.

It's so close, I'm about to see the real person.

Ji Yanming comforted her softly, "Don't worry, Mom and Dad love you so much. I have to stand aside in front of them."

"Your words actually make me even more nervous. What if I don't behave well later? This is my first time meeting parents and I have no experience."

Especially bringing in those melodramatic wealthy family dramas that she had seen in later life, such as giving you a million to leave my son, or sending you abroad to study and breaking my son's heart, or saying arrogantly and contemptuously that you want to marry into my family no matter your family background.

These imagined scenarios flashed through her mind one by one, making her laugh, and suddenly she was not so nervous anymore.

Ji Yanming was confused by her smile, but he still assured her, "I'll take care of everything."

"Well, I'm not nervous anymore."

According to previous correspondence with Mother Ji, it can be seen that she is not that kind of person. In her mind, Mother Ji is a person who is comprehensive, considerate and amiable.

When she thought of the letter she had written before, she was not nervous at all. After getting off the car at the destination, she picked up the things she had carried with her when she got on the car and walked out.

After walking two steps, Ning Xiyue stopped and found that someone was missing. She looked back and saw her two brothers still sitting in the car drinking water.

"Big brother, second brother, why don't you two come down?"

Ning Xiyue stepped back and opened the car door, only to see that her eldest brother's forehead was covered in sweat, and her second brother hadn't stopped drinking. Upon closer inspection, she saw that his hands holding the cups were trembling slightly.

The two older brothers looked nervous as if they were meeting their parents.

She laughed bluntly: "Why do you two look more nervous than me? I can understand that my second brother is nervous, but why are you so nervous, my eldest brother?"

"I'm not nervous. What should I be nervous about?" Ning Qingzhi stubbornly refused to admit it. He rushed out of the car with his things in his hands. He stumbled when getting off the car. It was Ning Qingyuan who got off the car behind him who pulled him up, thus preventing him from falling.

Ning Qingzhi cursed himself in his heart for being so useless. Why was he so nervous? Today was his younger sister's day to meet her parents, so why was he more nervous than when he went to meet his wife's parents?

Ji Yanming, who was standing beside him, suppressed the laughter that was about to burst out of his throat and whispered in Ning Xiyue's ear: "Brother, this may be because he wants to see our father."

Ning Xiyue suddenly understood.

Just like the student is afraid of seeing the teacher outside the classroom, the teacher is afraid of seeing the principal outside the school, the worker is afraid of seeing the company leader when playing outside, and the soldier, my brother, is afraid of meeting the superiors with his current in-law relationship.

"Big Brother, Second Brother, you guys go and greet them and just focus on the hard work of moving things out. Leave the rest to me. I'm not nervous anymore, don't worry."

Ning Xiyue patted her two brothers on the shoulders and said comfortingly.

Ning Qingyuan's drinking of water and his brother's stumbling had almost relieved his nervousness. "I'm not nervous anymore. You are the protagonist today, sister."

He was thinking that it was a good thing that he only had one younger sister. Accompanying his sister to meet his parents made him more nervous than the college entrance examination.

The eldest brother Ning Qingzhi shook his head firmly: "Don't be nervous, let's go, don't make them wait anxiously."

"OK."

Big brother has seen many storms, and Ning Xiyue believes that he can relieve the situation quickly.

Several people calmed down and carried their things towards Ji's house.

Ning Xiyue saw from afar an intelligent and beautiful older sister waving at them at the intersection ahead.

Out of politeness, Ning Xiyue raised her hand and waved vigorously with a smile on her face, regardless of whether she knew the person in front of her or not.

"Ayan, who is this sister? She's so enthusiastic. I waved to her, and she actually raised both hands and waved back at me."

"My mother." Ji Yanming introduced in a low voice.

Cracked.

Ning Xiyue's waving movements became slower, her eyes widened, and she wondered if her ears were wrong. She looked at Ji Yanming in disbelief: "This, this is my aunt?"

After receiving Ji Yanming's affirmative nod, Ning Xiyue murmured, "How youthful and beautiful."

She thought it was one of the sisters in the courtyard. She was young and beautiful, and looked like a peer. It was hard to imagine that this was Ji's mother.

Do the dancers have a natural beauty and aging-delaying bug? The years haven't left any traces on them at all.

Standing next to Ji Yanming, she looks more like an older sister.

Ji Yanming smiled and said, "My mother worries less, has a good attitude, and practices dancing often, so she looks younger."

Ning Qingyuan, who was standing behind, was shocked and said, "I'm embarrassed to even call you Auntie."

This is what Ning Xiyue was thinking.

Mother Ji in front was already running towards them, and Ning Xiyue also trotted forward. She couldn't let the elders run alone while she was still walking slowly.

Bai Manjun ran over and hugged Ning Xiyue, her joy overflowing with words: "Yueyue, I finally see you. You are even more beautiful and lovable than I imagined. You waved to me just now, so cute."

"Auntie, you are really beautiful. I just mistook you for some beautiful older sister in the compound. If A Yan hadn't told me, I wouldn't have known that you were Mother Ji." Ning Xiyue said sweetly.

Bai Manjun pushed her son away from her, took Ning Xiyue's hand and smiled happily: "Auntie likes you so much, Yueyue."

"I like you, too, Auntie. I came here today mainly to visit you and Uncle. I've been wanting to meet the gentle and thoughtful Mother Ji, with whom I've been exchanging letters, for a long time. I really want to thank you in person for your help. You sent us a lot of study materials and signed for my luggage. Auntie, you've been so kind to us. Thank you so much."
