Su Yan didn't know why Lu Yiming became so stubborn and more and more childish after going to the nursery. Maybe he really forgot everything in his previous life. She also didn't know whether he would study medicine in this life.
Lu Yiming didn't know what Su Yan was thinking. Shunzi, the brother downstairs, was almost ten years old and still slept with his parents. His parents were simply heartless. They let him sleep alone when he was only three years old. Sometimes he would want to cry when he found that there was no one around him in the middle of the night.
Lu Ting originally planned to go into the space with Su Yan to take a bath together, but his son ruined it. He gritted his teeth and slapped Lu Yiming on the butt again.
"Be honest, if your father is in a good mood, I'll ask your mother to give you a sister next year."
"Are you serious? My aunt gave birth to three children, but my mom only gave birth to one. Brother Shunzi has a bunch of brothers and sisters."
Su Yan coaxed: "If you are obedient, I will give you a sister next year."
When Lu Yiming heard what Su Yan said, he quickly got off Lu Ting and ran back to the room.
After Lu Yiming fell asleep, Su Yan brought Lu Ting back to the space and prepared to take a bath and start.
Su Yan stopped him immediately, "There are no condoms at home, don't do that."
"Wife, didn't you say you would give Yiming a sister?"
"I lied to him. I don't plan on having kids in the next two years. Don't forget, I'm still an intern and my job isn't stable yet."
Su Yan doesn't plan to have a child for at least three years, let alone two years. Once her job is stable and things outside are less chaotic, it will be just right for her to have another child. By then, her mother-in-law will probably be retired.
Just like her sister-in-law Lu Shu, she never thought about having children. She just gave birth to them. The eldest son is only a little over four years old, and the youngest son is half a year old.
She gave birth to three children in one go, and I don’t know if she will give birth to a fourth child in the hope of having another son.
Fortunately, her third child was a son, otherwise she would have had a really hard time in her husband's family.
Lu Ting didn't do anything bad at night and woke up early in the morning. Su Yan sent him out of the space and took care of the back garden herself.
Over the past year, Lu Ting collected various precious flower seeds for her from different places.
She planted a large area of peonies in the medicinal field, among which she cultivated four famous varieties of peonies: Yaohuang, Weizi, Zhaofen and Doulv. For the convenience of care, she planted them in the back garden of the villa.
Su Yan specially cleared out a greenhouse to grow orchids. Lu Ting bought Phalaenopsis, Clivia and Cymbidium seeds in Guangzhou, as well as Su He Guan Ding and Mo Lan seedlings from a friend.
Other miscellaneous orchid seedlings and seeds were bought from the flower and bird market. There are at least twenty or thirty kinds of orchids cultivated in the greenhouse.
To be honest, taking care of flowers and plants is much more difficult than collecting fruits and medicinal herbs. Some parts of the space can be controlled directly with thoughts, but I have to do all the seeds and seedlings I bought later myself.
Many times when Su Yan was very busy, she would ask Lu Ting to work with her. In order to teach him how to grow seedlings, she even went to the bookstore and bought two books on growing flowers and plants.
It is said that orchids are difficult to grow because of their nature. Everyone knows that if orchids are watered too much, their roots will rot, and if they are watered too little, their roots will become empty.
There are three types of orchid propagation: seed propagation, seedling propagation, and tissue culture. Su Yan couldn't do tissue culture. She would propagate orchids with seeds if she had them, and transplant orchids without ready-made seedlings.
The orchid seedlings in the greenhouse are like her uncles, and she has to check on them every day to feel at ease.
After Su Yan finished washing up, she came out of the space. Lu Ting cooked breakfast and carried Lu Yiming to the chair.
Lu Ting handed the bowl and chopsticks to Su Yan, "Yan Yan, we're having mung bean porridge and egg pancakes today."
"Well, it's boring to drink too much sweet potato porridge. I'll go buy some lean meat when I get to work. We can have preserved egg and lean meat porridge tomorrow morning."
Lu Yiming pouted and said, "Mom, I don't like preserved eggs. I like salted duck eggs."
"Ask your dad to cook two for you at noon."
There are so many chickens and ducks in the space, and she takes some chicken eggs and duck eggs out of the space every month. To be honest, her family is not short of eggs at all.
"This kid only eats the egg yolk and doesn't eat a single bite of the egg white."
"The egg white is too salty, but the yolk is runny and delicious."
"You know how to eat, kid. Okay, eat quickly. After you finish eating, I'll take you to the nursery."
"Dad, can I not go? Gouzi is unhygienic and has a runny nose every day. He even eats his snot secretly, and Auntie sees it but doesn't tell anyone. And Huihui, who just learned to walk, picks up poop from the ground and eats it."
"Shut up, don't talk while eating, don't talk while sleeping, and eat well."
Su Yan paused while picking up the omelet. This kid really deserves a beating! He's making such a fuss even while eating breakfast.
There are so many children in the nursery, and many of them are unhygienic. Lu Yiming is always clean at home every day, but when he comes out of the nursery, his clothes are so greasy that they can't be washed off.
Su Yan didn't let him eat at the nursery, so Lu Ting picked him up after get off work and sent him back to the nursery when he went to work.
Anyway, those people can't teach the children anything, they just help take care of the children.
After breakfast, Su Yan rode their old bicycle to work, and Lu Ting took Lu Yiming by the hand and sent him to the nursery.
Just after sending the child in, the aunt who was looking after the child came over and said to Lu Ting, "Captain Lu, your Yiming is a little naughty."
"What happened to him?"
"The dog has been feeling unwell for the past couple of days and has a runny nose. Your Yiming said a runny nose is disgusting and asked him to eat it. I didn't expect the dog to actually listen and eat it..."
Lu Ting's face darkened and his hands started to itch. This kid had just been complaining about others being unhygienic while eating breakfast. It turned out that he was the one who instigated Gou Zi to eat his snot. He still had the nerve to talk nonsense.
He grabbed Lu Yiming and slapped him on the butt a few times, "Lu Yiming, if you talk nonsense again next time, you will not be allowed to eat."
