Although her due date was September 1st, Su Yan went to the hospital early on August 18th to be on the safe side. Obstetricians took turns to check on her, and finally they decided to have a natural birth first after a meeting.
Su Yan felt a little worried when she heard that both children were in the head position. She must have felt that there were three children in her belly, and the last child must have been blocked by the first two children.
If the baby's fetal position is correct, the doctor will definitely not recommend a caesarean section, even if the family members suggest it.
Su Yan always felt uneasy, always feeling that the baby would come out early. Lu Ting couldn't take leave and could only come to accompany her after get off work. Her belly was so big that it was difficult for her to move. Lu Ting usually helped her put on her clothes after taking a shower. Although she didn't weigh 180 kilograms now, she still weighed 168 kilograms.
Lu Ting helped Su Yan change her pants and tidied the bed sheets. When the doctor on duty came to check, he said that Su Yan was already three fingers dilated.
Su Yan asked the doctor that she wanted to have a caesarean section, but the doctor on duty disagreed and kept nagging her in her ear, asking her to trust their skills.
Su Yan was furious. In the future, as long as the family agreed to a caesarean section, the doctor would at most give a few words of advice and would generally respect the family's opinion. If the pregnancy was twins, the doctor would actively suggest a caesarean section, let alone triplets.
She said she was pregnant with three babies, but no doctor believed her. They just said that she had too much amniotic fluid and the twins were big, weighing at least five kilograms each.
Su Yan didn't have the energy to argue with the doctor now because her contractions had already started and the pain was so severe that she wanted to take a scalpel and have a cesarean section.
When the ward rounds came at eight o'clock, a group of doctors surrounded her and took turns to perform prenatal examinations on her. They said that her cervix was already five fingers dilated and she had to be sent to the delivery room immediately.
Lu Ting begged the doctor to let him in, but the doctor said it was inconvenient because there were two women giving birth inside, and told him not to worry as there were two doctors delivering Su Yan.
Lu Ting had been guarding the door for two hours. When he heard the screams coming from inside, he became extremely panicked. Hua Min stretched her neck to look inside, but could not see anything.
"Ting'er, Yanyan should be giving birth to her second child soon. Go and inform your father-in-law and ask him to come into the delivery room to take a look."
Lu Ting didn't know whether his father-in-law could enter the delivery room, but then he thought about how his father-in-law performed surgery on people, so he must have seen everything.
"Mom, please stand guard at the door. I'm going to go find my father-in-law."
After Lu Ting finished speaking, he ran upstairs at lightning speed. Su Qingshan learned that his daughter had already entered the delivery room, so he gave the doctor on duty a few words and went downstairs with Lu Ting.
Arriving at the bed room door, Su Qingshan knocked and said he wanted to go in to take a look. The nurse on duty disagreed, saying that Su Yan was doing well now and her cervix would soon be fully dilated.
Su Qingshan, Lu Ting and Hua Min stood at the door, listening to the screams of children giving birth inside.
After several hours of pain, Su Yan had already become numb. Suddenly, she felt the fetus falling rapidly, and she wanted to give birth to him.
"Ah~!" The scream resounded throughout the delivery room, and the first child rushed out of the birth canal.
Su Yan didn't hear the child crying and asked worriedly, "Doctor Liao, what's wrong with the child? Why isn't he crying?"
Doctor Liao lifted the baby and patted his buttocks hard a few times. "Uh, huh!" Su Yan finally heard the baby crying.
Seeing the baby crying, Dr. Liao hurriedly cut the baby's umbilical cord and then handed the baby to another doctor for another check-up.
"I told you that you would have a natural birth. Congratulations, Dr. Su. It's another boy."
"Thank you, Dr. Liao."
Su Yan didn't care whether it was a boy or a girl, as long as the child was healthy. After a while, her stomach started to hurt again, and ten minutes later she gave birth to another son. After giving birth to two sons in a row without a placenta in between, Su Yan realized that the two brothers shared the same placenta and were identical twins.
After the placenta was expelled, Su Yan was so tired that she couldn't open her eyes. She felt exhausted and fell asleep in a daze.
Doctor Liao gently patted Su Yan's face and said, "Doctor Su, you can't sleep. You are bleeding a lot down there. You must not sleep."
Su Yan clearly felt the doctor telling her not to sleep in her ear, but she just couldn't open her eyes.
Suddenly, her body felt lighter and she floated out of the body. Looking at the bloodless body on the delivery bed, Su Yan was so anxious that she wanted to scream.
Dr. Liao was extremely anxious. She didn't expect that Dr. Su really had three babies in her belly. Now she was bleeding heavily. What should she do?
"Xiao Ye, quickly go inform Dr. Su's family that the woman is bleeding heavily after giving birth."
When Lu Ting and Su Qingshan heard that Su Yan had fainted due to heavy bleeding, they rushed into the delivery room without hesitation. Fortunately, the other two women had already given birth.
