It was snowing heavily on the first day of the Lunar New Year. Lu Ting took his family back to the Lu family courtyard to wish his parents a happy new year. After lunch, he took gifts to pay New Year's greetings to the major leaders. He drank a cup of hot tea at one family and ate some melon seeds and peanuts at another family. The whole afternoon passed like this.
After coming out of the last leader's house, Lu Yirou asked Su Yan, "Mom, should we go back and cook for ourselves, or go to grandpa and grandma's house for dinner?"
"It's too cold, let's go back."

Lu Yiming nodded, "This custom is quite good."
