June 4th, morning.
After having breakfast at home, Mo Beishen and Gu Wan were about to set off for Shenzhen.
Around eight o'clock in the morning, Gu Xianghua and his wife, Mr. Xie, Gu Zeyi, Gu Zedong and their group arrived. The luxury car drove into the East District compound and then stopped in front of the Mo family's gate.
When the in-laws come to visit, some greetings are inevitable.
The group sat in the living room for more than half an hour before they were ready to leave.
Originally, Mr. Mo wanted to go to Shenzhen with us, but was stopped by something unexpected.
He sighed with regret, and then said to Mr. Xie, "Old Xie, when you return to Shengjing, you must come to visit me! I still have a lot of good tea leaves, and I'm waiting for you to come and drink tea and play chess with me!"
"Okay, after I send Xiaowan and the others to Zhuyu and settle them down, I will come back to have tea with you." After hearing this, Mr. Xie showed a happy smile on his face and agreed without hesitation.
He also liked to chat with Mr. Mo.
Even though they had not been close friends before, since they were of similar age and their two families were now relatives, there was naturally no sense of alienation when they got along.
After finishing his conversation with Grandpa Xie, Grandpa Mo turned around, looked at his grandson with concern, and told him, "Xiao Mo, when you get there, you must take good care of Xiao Wan and Xiao Yi, especially your mother. She is in poor health and needs to be taken care of carefully."
After saying that, he quickly reminded her, "You must pay more attention to it in your daily life, understand?"
Mo Beishen smiled and nodded, "Grandpa, don't worry, I understand everything you said!"
There was a strong sense of responsibility in his voice.
After hearing this, Mr. Mo smiled with satisfaction, and then turned his gaze to Gu Wan again.
He looked at Gu Wan kindly, smiled and warned her, "Xiao Wan, if you miss home, come back. Also, if Xiao Mo bullies you, call home and Grandpa will take care of him for you!"
Hearing this, Gu Wan's heart couldn't help but warm up, and he quickly responded: "I will."
Then she walked up to her grandfather, took his hand, and smiled and told him, "Grandpa, remember to take out the ginseng slices I left for you and soak them in water to drink. Don't be reluctant. When you finish the two boxes of ginseng slices, I will send them back to you."
"Of course, I will come back to see you and mom and dad often!"
After hearing this, Mr. Mo immediately responded with a cheerful smile, and the wrinkles on his face smoothed out, "Okay, okay, okay..."
After saying goodbye to his grandfather, Gu Wan walked over to say goodbye to 㫅齂.
She called out to Mo Xiaoyun, and then hugged Dong Wanqiu, her voice full of reluctance, "Mom and Dad, Ah Shen and I are leaving first. When we get to Shenzhen, we'll call you to let you know we're safe!"
Dong Wanqiu and Mo Xiaoyun smiled and nodded, "Okay, be careful along the way..."
The couple both had gentle smiles on their faces, but they felt a little reluctant and melancholy in their hearts.
However, they also knew that their son's vacation was limited and he couldn't stay at home for too long, so even though they wanted their son and daughter-in-law to stay at home for more time, they never showed it.
After Mo Beishen put down his luggage, he took a few steps towards his father and grandfather.
He looked at his parents and grandfather, his eyes darkened, and he said softly, "Mom, Dad, Grandpa, take care of yourselves at home! Ah Wan and I are leaving, and when I have some time off, I will bring Ah Wan home to see you."
"good!"
Mo Xiaoyun and Dong Wanqiu nodded in response, and then the couple had a brief conversation with their in-laws and watched everyone get on the car one after another.
Watching their son and daughter-in-law sitting firmly in the car, Mo Xiaoyun and Dong Wanqiu's reluctance grew stronger like the tide.
