Chapter 13 Such tender little milk dumplings, should they be steamed or grilled?

While Xiao Mei was shouting, Bei Bei had already grabbed Tuan Tuan's hand.

She was about to draw in the group's luck when she suddenly realized something was wrong!

"Little one, there's something on her. Let go quickly, or she'll drain your luck!"

Xiao Mei finally figured out what exactly happened to the Yang family's decline!

Tuantuan obediently let go of Beibei's hand. Xiaomei was surprised to find that Tuantuan was fine, but Beibei looked like she was seriously ill.

Still shaken, Beibei looked at her hands, shaking her head as she backed away: "Impossible! No one has ever been able to escape the koi scales!"

She looked at Tuantuan as if she had seen a ghost, and then ran away.

While running, I stepped in dog poop.

*Splat*

I fell down.

Beibei burst into tears, and Aixin ran out and saw her fall, so she quickly picked her up.

"Beibei, what happened?"

Beibei's body was very cold, which startled Aixin.

"Beibei, let me carry you back first, don't be afraid."

Ai Xin carried the wailing Bei Bei back home.

After asking her some questions, the result left Ai Xin speechless.

"Impossible! You have koi scales on you that can absorb the luck of the person you shake hands with. You didn't absorb hers, but instead, she absorbed some of your luck?"

Beibei nodded, in extreme pain.

Ai Xin was so angry she was convulsing: "What is this child's background? I didn't see any magic treasures on her."

Beibei held Aixin's hand, trembling, "Mommy, it's cold..."

Ai Xin found a glass bottle containing gas that was flashing red light.

After opening the glass bottle, Beibei inhaled some of the energy, and her body finally recovered.

"I'd like to see what kind of magic weapon she has!"

Eager to find out what was going on, Ai Xin opened her right hand, revealing a strand of hair that had been taken from Tuan Tuan's clothes.

She took the hair and went to the mysterious little house on the second floor...

Ai Xin was working on the second floor when suddenly Bei Bei's heart-wrenching screams of pain came from the first floor.

When Ai Xin ran downstairs, she found Bei Bei lying on the ground, being tossed around like a toy by the three little devils.

One was pulling her hair, another was pulling her hand, and the third was pulling her foot, all while muttering something.

"I love being torn apart by five horses!"

"No, I want to roast her over a fire, roast her until she's sizzling and smoking."

"No, I still prefer steaming. The skin and flesh are so tender, steaming makes it taste better. I can eat such a delicate child one bite at a time."

"Hehehe, this is so much fun."

Beibei was in excruciating pain and screamed at the top of her lungs, "Mommy, help!"

Ai Xin was terrified. She was clearly using Tuan Tuan's hair to perform a ritual, so how did the person who was being haunted by the little devil turn into Bei Bei?

Beibei was tortured until her face was bruised and swollen, and she couldn't move her hands and feet.

If an ordinary person saw this, they would only think that Beibei had a mental illness and was self-harming.

Otherwise, why would she plan to bang her head against the pillar? Isn't that just plain stupid?

Ai Xin took out a talisman from her pocket and threw it at the little devil.

The kids quickly released Beibei and left, thus preventing Beibei from having close contact with the pillar.

Beibei was so frightened that she ran into Aixin's arms and cried loudly, "Mommy, I'm scared...it's so scary..."

The child was terrified, and Ai Xin, the one who started it all, frowned so much that she even forgot to comfort the child; she just couldn't believe it.

What exactly is going on?

Why did the person who should have been tormented turn from Tuantuan to Beibei?

Who exactly is Tuan Tuan?

Wasn't that hair clump together?

Is it Beibei's?

How did her lucky daughter turn into a jinx?

...

Xiao Mei emerged from the pendant, stood beside Tuan Tuan's bed, and told her about the incident.

"Little one, you didn't see the commotion over there! This is what they call shooting yourself in the foot!"

Hmph, how dare you bully the little dumpling it protects? Does it think it died for nothing all these hundred years?

Tuantuan rubbed her sleepy eyes, her hair slightly messy, her big eyes revealing a blank look, making her look adorable and cute.

"Xiaomei, why did they want to hurt me?" Tuantuan looked puzzled. Wasn't this the first time she had met Beibei and Aixin?

She didn't hurt anyone, so why did those people hurt her?

The three-and-a-half-year-old toddler wouldn't understand so much, but Xiaomei was an experienced person who knew the wickedness of people's hearts.

Her body floated in mid-air, her hair dancing, both ethereal and terrifying.

"Because you came back, Beibei can no longer enjoy the affection all to herself, and you've ruined Aixin's plans."

The little dumpling blinked her big, watery eyes, thinking of the dark aura she had seen on Ai Xin: "Xiao Mei, the dark aura that you swallowed from Daddy looks just like the one on Auntie."

“You’re so smart, so your aunt isn’t a good person. You can’t easily believe what she says in the future. As for the Yang family, I don’t know if we should come back. But I’ll take care of everything. You have to learn how to catch ghosts from me, so you can protect yourself, protect your family, and deal with bad guys.”

Protect your family? Protect yourself?

"Okay!" The little girl suddenly felt full of energy; she wanted to be a child who could protect her family too!

"If Tuantuan learns how to catch ghosts, will she catch you too?"

ah?

this?

Xiao Mei laughed, her body swaying in mid-air with her laughter: "Little one, I'm not an ordinary ghost, you'll find out later. But we have to get the koi fish fragments off Bei Bei as soon as possible, otherwise she'll use them to harm your family and affect the fortune of your Yang family, and that would be terrible."
