Chapter 30 Trying to Kidnap the Little Milkball

Grandpa Yang and Grandma Wan had the kitchen prepare the dishes that Naituan (the baby) liked to eat in advance. When Yang Boyu, Yang Junjie, and Yang Yu returned, they told the kitchen that dinner could be served.

Yang Boyu is now a sophomore in college, but he doesn't live on campus and comes back every day.

Fifteen-year-old Yang Junjie is in his final year of junior high school. Today happens to be Saturday, and he will be back home. He usually lives at school and studies hard for this year's high school entrance exam.

Yang Yu, who is ten years old, is only in the fourth grade this year, but he is a poor student. His happiest time every day is after school.

But right now, he's not happy at all.

Under the pressure of his older brother's gaze, Yang Yu reluctantly sat down in the chair, looked at the table full of food, and grumbled unhappily: "Why isn't there my favorite fried chicken? There aren't any dishes I like. What am I supposed to eat?"

Yang Chengze glanced at Yang Yu, who seemed to be up to no good: "How about I fry you a sausage and two poached eggs? I wish you can get a perfect score on your next exam."

Yang Yu: "..."

The older brother always brings up the most sensitive topics, deliberately trying to let the new sister know that he's a terrible student.

The little dumpling blinked her big, bright eyes and looked at Yang Yu with admiration: "Sixth brother, you're so amazing! You actually got a hundred points. Even Gou Dan from our village can't get a hundred points. Sixth brother is so much better."

Yang Junjie: "Pfft..."

The rice in his mouth sprayed out, landing directly on Yang Yu, which completely enraged the germaphobe.

Yang Yu was so angry he was convulsing, clenching his fists, and shouting angrily, "Yang Junjie!"

Yang Junjie was laughing so hard his body was shaking. Seeing Yang Yu's flustered state, he laughed again, "Sorry, I really didn't mean to."

Tuantuan pulled out a tissue and handed it to Yang Yu: "Sixth Brother, here's a tissue for you."

Yang Yu snatched the paper away, threw it in the trash can, and then pulled out another tissue to wipe himself: "Hmph, who wants your fake kindness! I think you're a black-hearted little dumpling, just trying to insult me."

Tuantuan's big, dark eyes were full of confusion, and she asked another probing question: "Sixth brother, can't you get a perfect score?"

Yang Yu: "..."

How is he supposed to respond to that?

Yang Qixiu, being rather unkind, chimed in, "Little Six, isn't what your sister said right? You can't get a perfect score?"

Yang Boyu chuckled, enjoying the spectacle: "You can't even get a perfect score, so you take it out on your sister. What kind of man are you? If you're so capable, get a perfect score and show your sister!"

With a cold face, Yang Jinchuan served Tuantuan a bowl of hot congee with preserved egg and lean pork.

"Tuantuan, don't pay attention to your sixth brother. He's a terrible student; he's never gotten a perfect score."

Not only are her grades bad, but her temper is absolutely outrageous.

It was his fault for not educating his child properly in the past. Yang Yu, who had been spoiled, was about to become a brat, and he had to be disciplined.

"Dad, you've really changed. You never used to talk to me like this, but now you're even teaming up with my brothers to argue with me because of this little dumpling."

Yang Yu's eyes turned red with anger; he felt that he no longer had a place in this family.

Yang Jinchuan reprimanded him with a stern face: "Xiao Liu, did Tuantuan say something wrong? She kindly handed you a tissue, and what was your attitude?"

Yang Chengze: "Xiao Liu, are you really afraid of not getting a perfect score?"

Yang Yu stood tall and proud, arrogant and confident: "It's just a hundred points, I can get it if I want to."

Grandpa Yang slapped him on the back of the head: "You dare to call yourself 'Master' in front of anyone? How about you take my seat?"

Yang Yu scratched his head awkwardly: "Grandpa, that's not what I meant."

Grandpa Yang gave him a long face and said, "Hurry up and eat, the food will get cold soon, what if Tuantuan gets a stomachache after eating it?"

Yang Yu was furious, so he could only sit down and bury his head in his food.

After a long pause, he slowly raised his head and looked at everyone: "If I don't get a perfect score, will you stop liking me?"

The little dumpling's bright eyes seemed to hold a thousand stars: "No, even if Sixth Brother doesn't get a perfect score, Tuantuan still likes Sixth Brother."

Yang Yu's heart was incredibly tender.

This little dumpling is alright.

Grandma Wan chimed in, "Little Six, you've never gotten a perfect score on a test in your life, and none of us have ever said anything to you about it, have we?"

Yang Yu: "..."

Yang Yu said with a resentful look, "Grandma, why did you have to be so blunt? It's so embarrassing."

Yang Chengze glanced at Yang Yu, his voice returning to its usual coldness: "If you don't want to lose face, then get a perfect score and come back to show us."

With his elder brother speaking, Yang Yu dared not be sarcastic anymore, buried himself in his food, and went to study after he finished eating.

We finished eating.

Just as Yang Jinchuan was about to take Tuantuan for a walk, the second wife and son-in-law from the Yang family arrived with their child.

Yang Jinyu arrived with his wife Zhang Yao, his eldest son Yang Junzhe, and his second son Yang Zihao.

The couple had just returned to China and came to the Yang family home with their child after getting off the plane.

Zhang Yao saw the little dumpling as soon as she came in.

There was no way around it; among a group of boys, only the little dumpling stood out the most.

Tuantuan was wearing a red sweater and had her hair in a bun. Her bright, watery eyes were filled with laughter, as if sparkling with light.

Zhang Yao immediately spotted the most dazzling little dumpling. There was no way around it; the Yang family was dominated by males and lacked females. After giving birth to a son, she herself dared not have any more children and dreamed of having a daughter.

Zhang Yao's eyes lit up, and she quickly scooped Tuantuan into her arms, saying, "Tuantuan, let your auntie take a look."
