Bai Meng: "My grandson is already this big?"
Gu Hongwen's face darkened.

Gu Yan and Bai Meng were dumbfounded; they had actually come back to life.
Gu Hongwen told the couple about what had happened over the years, and Gu Jinghuai chimed in with a few words. The grandfather and grandson shared only the good news and told them everything that had happened during the years that Gu Yan and Bai Meng had been missing.
The couple looked at each other, slowly sat up, and looked at their hands. They were truly alive.
Gu Yan: "Jing Huai, you said the person who saved us was Tuan Tuan? Jin Chuan's daughter?"
