Yun Ningyan nodded: "Go ahead!"
The two argued inside for a while, but Huo Junshan ultimately failed. As it was getting dark, he went to the front.
As soon as the two entered the courtyard, Huo Jianshe called out, "Third Brother, you finally decided to come? I thought you'd disappeared for the past month!"
Huo Junshan glared at him, and Huo Jianshe scratched his head.
Huo Changgen looked at the two of them and said with a smile, "Come on, let's get ready to eat!"
Everyone carried the food to the table in the main room. Huo Changlan, Yao Qingqing, and Yao Tingting chatted with the others with smiles, and the atmosphere seemed very pleasant.
Zhang Hongying's belly was already slightly protruding, and it was clear that she was pregnant.
Everyone took their seats. Xiao Huzi and Daya hadn't seen Yun Ningyan and Huo Junshan for over a month.
Two pairs of big eyes stared at the two of them, seemingly a little shy!
But Daya called out with her little mouth, "Third Uncle, Third Aunt, Auntie!"
She broke free from Wang Cuihong's embrace, got down, and walked to Yun Ningyan's side on her own.

She took out a few pieces of candy and gave them to the two children: "Go on, take them home and eat them after you finish your meal!"
The two children were well-behaved; they didn't have Wang Cuihong's calculating and petty nature, and she was happy to give them a few pieces of candy.
After Huo Changlan sat down, he spoke first: "Ningning, you haven't come out for a month. I thought you and Lao San had gone on a long trip!"
Huo Junshan gave her a cold look and said in a chilling tone, "Where can we go? We'll either stay at home or go to the commune to find Yang Dasheng!"
Li Xiangyun didn't know what Huo Changlan meant. Had she discovered something?

The two then left.
Huo Jianshe called out from behind, "Third Brother, wait for me, I have a question for you!"
Huo Junshan: "Ask me tomorrow if you have something to say. I have something to do later. My uncle wants to see me!"

Huo Jianshe had no choice but to return to the courtyard.
The two went home, picked up the down jackets they had bought for the brigade leader and Aunt Guihua, and went to the brigade leader's house.
When the captain saw the two return, his heart finally settled down.
"It's good that you're back! I thought something had gotten in the way!"
Huo Junshan took out the down jackets and said, "These are down jackets that Ningning bought for you two. Try them on, and wear a coat over them when you go out so no one can see them!"
The captain was pleasantly surprised; he hadn't expected his nephew to buy him clothes after going out.
He looked at the down jacket again and again: "Good lad! Ningning, if you have money, buy it for yourselves. We're old bones, it doesn't matter what we wear!"
