Upon reaching the gate, Huo Junshan finally decided to put the person down, then quickly opened and locked the door in one smooth motion.
Then they pulled the person into the house, lit the candles, and the room became bright.
Then the door was closed.
He immediately started taking off his clothes and getting onto the kang (heated brick bed), leaving Yun Ningyan somewhat bewildered.
After taking off his own clothes, Huo Junshan pulled her over and removed her cotton-padded jacket and trousers.

Huo Jianshe started knocking on the door early in the morning. Huo Junshan had been away from home for a month, and he had accumulated a month's worth of questions to ask Huo Junshan.
He came twice this morning, but his third brother wouldn't let him in, saying that his sister-in-law was still resting and that he should come back in the afternoon.
