That day, Huo Junshan and Yun Ningyan were studying and doing exercises at home.

To appease her, Huo Junshan built a swing using a thick wooden stake under the ginkgo tree in the yard.
He dug very deep, with two logs buried deep in the ground at each end of the swing.

When Huo Junshan heard her praising him, he chuckled softly: "Yanyan, I may not be able to make anything you like, but I can buy it for you."
Just as Yun Ningyan was about to speak, someone outside the door called out, "Brother Huo, Brother Huo! Open the door."
Huo Junshan wiped his sweat and went to open the door: "Yang Dasheng, what brings you here?"
Yang Dasheng pushed his bicycle into the yard. He was covered in sweat. He parked the bicycle in frustration and complained, "Brother Huo! Your cousin found me at the commune. She's been waiting for me to open the door every day."
"I'm so annoyed! Brother Huo, you have to help me with this. She waits at my door every day and tells everyone she's my wife."
"Brother Huo, if you don't help me solve this, I'm not leaving."
Yun Ningyan never expected that Yao Qingqing would be so bold as to wander around the commune every day in order to find Yang Dasheng.

Yun Ningyan sighed. What she said made sense, but Yao Qingqing was determined to marry Yang Dasheng unless she changed her mind.

That means letting her fall for someone else and stop bothering Yang Dasheng.
But someone like her is well-known in the village, so who would want to marry her?
How could she possibly be interested in someone else?
Yun Ningyan suddenly thought of Wei Xiangdong.
The man was tall and strong; I wonder if he would be willing to marry Yao Qingqing.
If we can get rid of Yao Qingqing, we'll solve a major problem.
Yang Dasheng was still shouting, "Brother Huo, you should go talk to your aunt! I really can't stand that woman, she's so annoying."
Huo Junshan: "Why don't you just marry her? If you marry her, you can keep an eye on her all the time, right?"

He stared at his brother Huo in shock. He treated Huo like a brother, yet his brother had said such a thing.
"Brother Huo, don't joke around. I can't control that woman, and besides, I don't like her."

Huo Junshan said, "Our family doesn't have a good relationship with Huo Changlan, and she doesn't like what I say, so this matter is really difficult to handle."
