After finishing work and returning home, Huo Junshan took a shower, changed into clean clothes, and then went to the educated youth settlement.
Yun Ningyan had already prepared the meal and placed it in her space, waiting for him to arrive. She had also taken a bath in her space, and a pot of hot water was boiling in the large pot outside.
When Huo Junshan arrived, his hair was still damp with moisture. When he saw Yun Ningyan, his face flushed, and he inexplicably recalled the scene in the field.
Yun Ningyan invited him to sit down and eat. Huo Junshan thought about going to the mountains that night and wondered if the young girl wanted to go.
"Yanyan, I'm going to the mountains tonight, do you want to come?"

Huo Junshan said to her solemnly, "Yanyan, let's be a couple. Yanyan, I like you, do you like me?"
Yun Ningyan's face flushed red. This was the first time in both her lives that she had been confessed to, especially by a handsome man who was her type. Her heart pounded wildly, and she didn't know how to answer him.
Huo Junshan kept his eyes on her, not missing a single emotion of hers, and Yun Ningyan decided to make things clear with him.
"Huo Junshan, I'm a germaphobe. If you like me, you can only like me. You can't be fickle, and you can't mess around with other women. Otherwise, I won't hesitate to cripple you myself!"
She arrogantly and domineeringly hooked Huo Junshan's chin, and Huo Junshan grasped her fingers and kissed the back of her hand. Yun Ningyan, who was still "warning" him, blushed again after his actions: "You!...I'm talking about serious matters! Can't you be serious for once!"
Huo Junshan raised his hand and swore, his eyes fixed firmly on Yun Ningyan: "Yanyan, I will only be loyal to you for the rest of my life, and I will never look at any other woman!"
Huo Junshan's lips curled up, and he reached out to gently stroke Yun Ningyan's nose: "Yanyan, I want to build a house. What kind do you like? I can't bear to see you make do in that small house."
Yun Ningyan glanced at him and said, "Why are you building a house? We're dating, not getting married."
Is it time for the family to split up?
Huo Junshan chuckled but didn't say anything: "My current room is too small. It used to be a woodshed, and it's not enough to live in. Besides, we'll be building a new house when we get married in the future."
Although the girl has started to accept him, she gets anxious when it comes to marriage. It seems I still need to work harder!
"I want to build a house, so I have to work hard to earn money."
Yun Ningyan glared at him irritably: "I only agreed to date you, not to marry you. It depends on your performance."
Huo Junshan's lips curled up: "Yes, I will definitely perform well and not give you a chance to back out."
After Huo Junshan finished speaking, he picked her up, spun her around in his arms, and startled Yun Ningyan so much that she almost screamed. Huo Junshan laughed heartily, "Yanyan, I'm so happy! So happy!"
He placed Yun Ningyan on the bed and pressed himself down on her. Yun Ningyan was flustered by his kisses, and just as the two were about to lose control, Huo Junshan stopped.
He stroked her hair and said, "I'll go back first, wait a while, and then I'll come pick you up."
Yun Ningyan nodded.
After Huo Junshan left, her heart was in turmoil. She had inexplicably agreed to date Huo Junshan.
Isn't it too hasty?
She lay on the bed and entered the space, rummaging through things until she finally found a long knife that looked sharp. She would take it to the mountains later; it should provide her with some protection.
She filled the kettle with spiritual spring water, closed her eyes and pretended to sleep, waiting for Huo Junshan to come find her.
Huo Junshan returned home excitedly, his face beaming with joy. His parents, seeing his wide grin that reached behind his ears, were astonished: "Third son, what are you laughing at? Why are you grinning like an idiot?"
Huo Changgen asked with a smile, curiously looking at the third brother and finding that apart from constantly smiling, he seemed quite normal.
Huo Junshan raised his eyebrows, his joy evident on his face: "Dad, Mom, Yanyan has agreed to date me! I'll have a boyfriend now!"
"Really? That's great! Third brother, you're really capable! But let me tell you, you have to treat that girl Ningning well."
Li Xiangyun was initially pleased, but then she immediately warned her son.
Huo Junshan nodded: "Mother, don't worry, I'm too busy trying to please her and can't make her angry. You should also keep an eye on my sister-in-law and make sure she doesn't cause any more trouble!"
Huo Changgen waved his hand dismissively: "Don't worry, your sister-in-law probably won't dare to do it."
Huo Junshan nodded, picked up his axe, and left: "Mother, I'm going up the mountain to see if anything has gotten into the trap."
