Yun Ningyan did one day's work in the afternoon, making it two days' work. When the team leader saw that she had left early again, he chuckled and said, "Yun Qingqing, you're doing two days' work a day. I'm afraid you'll starve to death."
Yun Ningyan said indifferently, "It's too tiring, I can't do it."
The captain chuckled and said, "Go back, go back and rest."
This is his future nephew's wife, so he can only turn a blind eye.
After returning, Yun Ningyan entered her spatial dimension, wandered around, drank a cup of milk tea, ate a few pieces of fried chicken, let out a burp, and then left the dimension.

Liu Zhijun and Hu Haiquan were fine; they often cooked special meals together, so they didn't lack food. But the others ate alone with each other, and they would hide their good food and eat it secretly, rather than sharing it with everyone.
They ate their meals listlessly. When Lin Mengmeng finished cooking and the food was ready, a fragrant aroma wafted throughout the courtyard, making everyone swallow hard.
After everyone had eaten early, they all went to rest. Zhang Qiang put down his chopsticks and couldn't resist knocking on Lin Mengmeng's door.
Lin Mengmeng opened the door while slurping noodles, looking at him with a puzzled expression. "Zhang Zhiqing, is something the matter?"
Zhang Qiang smiled and said, "Hey, Lin Zhiqing, can I team up with you? I can help carry water, gather firewood, and I can cook too."
Lin Mengmeng paused for a moment, then nodded. It was good for the two of them to be together, especially since Zhang Qiang and the others had been here for so long and knew each other to some extent.
"Okay, okay, but I'm not a very good cook."
The two agreed on this, and Zhang Qiang returned to his dormitory in a good mood.
Liu Zhijun looked speechlessly at the smug Zhang Qiang. "What's making you so happy?"
"I won't be having dinner with you guys tomorrow. I'll be eating with Lin Mengmeng instead."
Liu Zhijun was secretly annoyed at himself for not asking Yun Ningyan to join him as soon as possible. Wouldn't that have allowed them to develop a relationship?
It's too late to say anything now; Yun Ningyan is ignoring him.
When Huo Junshan arrived, everyone was resting. He pushed open Yun Ningyan's door and went inside.
Yun Ningyan sat on the edge of the bed and blinked her big, watery eyes. "Why did it take you so long to come over? I was so sleepy."
Huo Junshan pinched her little face, the smooth texture making him gently rub his fingertips against her cheek. He then held her chin and pecked her lips. "Let's go!"
The two left the educated youth compound hand in hand, tiptoeing, and waited near Ma Lao Er's house.
Before long, Old Ma came out with two eggs in his hands, tossing them up and down while whistling.
He walked up to a tree and urinated on it. Yun Ningyan rolled her eyes speechlessly. What kind of person is he? So rude and disgusting.
Ma Lao Er was unaware that someone was watching him from the shadows. Huo Junshan gestured for her to wait there, then grabbed a sack and dashed out, trapping Ma Lao Er inside.
Screams echoed throughout the village: "Aaaaah! Who's there? Who hit me?"
Huo Junshan remained silent, hitting hard with his head down. He deliberately targeted the sore spots, but did not let anyone see the injuries, until Yun Ningyan quietly pulled down his sleeve and whispered, "Don't kill him."
He picked up the rope on the ground, hung the sack containing the old man's horse up to the tree, and the two of them walked away hand in hand.
Having dealt with Ma Lao Er and the other man, he was clearly in a good mood. He escorted Yun Ningyan back to the small house, and then followed her inside.
Yun Ningyan asked in surprise, "Aren't you going back?"
Huo Junshan chuckled twice. "I'll leave after you fall asleep."
Yun Ningyan rolled her eyes speechlessly. Did she think he didn't know he wanted to stay here for the night? Huo Junshan took her small hand and pulled her to the bed. "Sleep. Don't worry, I won't eat you."
Yun Ningyan turned over and said to him, "You have the desire but not the courage."
Huo Junshan kissed her lips, waited for a while, and when the person on the bed started breathing more evenly, he quietly got onto the bed and pulled her into his arms.
Yun Ningyan smelled a familiar scent, shifted her head in the man's arms to find a comfortable position, and continued to sleep.
Huo Junshan gently stroked her hair, placed a kiss on her head, and closed his eyes to fall asleep.
I slept without any dreams.
Huo Junshan left the small house just as dawn was breaking. This time he returned a little earlier, and Li Xiangyun didn't notice anything unusual, assuming he had been sleeping in the room the whole time.
When Ma Lao Er was discovered, it was his muffled shouts from inside the sack that drew people over. Ma Da Niang followed the crowd, laughing as she went to watch the spectacle.
"Who is this guy? Why is he tied up here? He's been tied up all night, hasn't he?"
"Who knows? They must have done something wrong."
Widow Wang was also standing in the crowd. Last night, Ma Lao Er said he would bring her eggs, but she waited all night and no one came.
Yun Ningyan and Lin Mengmeng also stood together watching the excitement, as did Huo Junshan, his brothers, Li Xiangyun, and Huo Changgen.
The two exchanged a glance. Yun Ningyan blinked her large, clear eyes at him. Huo Junshan slightly curled the corners of his lips. Li Xiangyun secretly pinched him, giving him a look that said: "Behave yourself."
Huo Junshan quickly looked away, not daring to look again.
The team leader walked over, his face grim. "What are you all doing? Aren't you going to work?"
He turned to his two sons and said, "You two, put him down!"
Grandma Ma was still muttering, "Who is this person? He must have done something heartless to deserve this revenge and be tied up here."
