Li Xiangyun looked in the direction he was pointing.
Several chickens were tied together and waiting on the side.

She trusted her third brother completely.
Huo Junshan boiled a pot of water, scalded the chicken feathers, and then chopped it into pieces.
Blanch directly in boiling water.
After blanching, add some scallions and ginger, and start stewing. Add a little salt in the middle.
Huo Changgen had nothing to do, so Li Xiangyun called him over.
"You start the fire! The third brother has been working hard for days, let him go to sleep for a while."
"I haven't been sleeping well these past few days."

Li Xiangyun then pulled Huo Junshan away.
“In-laws, we’re home now. The two children are asleep. You should go and rest too. You’ve been working hard for days. I’ll take care of things here.”
Yun Ningyan also said, "Mom and Dad, go get some sleep! Huo Junshan is here too, it'll be alright."
Wen Yingqiu and Yun Qinzhi went to rest.
As soon as the two of them left, Li Xiangyun went to the kitchen.
"Third brother, you should get some sleep too! Just call me when the child wakes up."
Huo Junshan nodded, then climbed onto the bed and placed the two children inside Yun Ningyan's.
He lay down outside his wife's side, then reached out and pulled Yun Ningyan into his arms.
Yun Ningyan: "I've been sweating a lot these past few days, and I feel like I smell bad. I want to take a shower."
Huo Junshan shook his head: "No, Mother said you can only wash after you've finished your postpartum period, so there won't be any smell."
He leaned over Yun Ningyan's chest and sniffed, his expression remaining unchanged.
"I only smelled a milky aroma."
Yun Ningyan's face instantly turned bright red.
"Huo Junshan!"
She called out to Huo Junshan in a coquettish tone.
Huo Junshan's words seemed normal, but to her, they always sounded like there was something more to them.
Huo Junshan lowered his head and kissed her forehead.
"I'm not teasing you anymore, go to sleep! You haven't rested all day, and you talked for a long time after you got back."
Yun Ningyan closed her eyes and fell asleep in no time.
With both children by his side, Huo Junshan finally felt at ease.
He had been exhausted for several days, running around doing errands.
I'm going to close my eyes and take a nap.
Who knew that he would sleep for more than two hours in such a short time.
The child woke up hungry, whimpering twice before he finally woke up.
Yun Ningyan nudged him with her elbow: "Huo Junshan, the baby is awake. Quickly bring the baby over so I can feed him."
Huo Junshan carried Huo Yunxi over, and Yun Ningyan always fed her daughter first.
My daughter has a small appetite, so she eats her fill first and then lets Xiao Yunchuan eat, and Xiao Yunchuan eats his fill too.
If he wasn't full, Huo Junshan would make him some milk powder to drink.
After feeding both children, Huo Junshan put them on the kang (a heated brick bed) to lie down.
He said to Yun Ningyan, "You lie down! I'll go check if the chicken soup is ready. I'll also tell Mother to go back and rest; she's been working hard for days."
"Go! Go!"
"Give your parents a bag of milk powder and a bag of malted milk powder so they can also get some supplements."
Yun Ningyan then gave further instructions.
Huo Junshan took two bags and went out.
Li Xiangyun and Huo Changgen were still in the kitchen.
The chicken soup is almost ready.
"Third brother, why are you up? Why don't you sleep a little longer?"
"I'm awake, Mom. You should go back and rest. Come over for dinner tonight, okay?"
Li Xiangyun pulled him aside and said, "Third brother, I'm warning you, Ningning's body is very weak. She had two children at once, and she can't recover in just a few months. If you dare to disregard her health and act recklessly, I'll break your legs."
Huo Junshan nodded; he knew what his mother meant.
"Mom, don't worry! I'm not a fool!"
He was about to leave after he finished speaking.
Li Xiangyun stopped him again: "You clean up that room and you can stay there tonight. Ningning and I will stay there tonight and help take care of the children."
Huo Junshan scratched his head, looking unwilling.
Can't I even have a sip of soup if I can't eat meat?
Now they won't even let you touch them.
"Then I'll sleep in the main room! It's warm there, the other rooms aren't warm at all!"
"Besides, you can't manage alone, and Ningning can't stay up late."
Li Xiangyun nodded: "Alright, you can tidy up! It's warm in the main room, you can just bring in a bed."
Li Xiangyun and Huo Changgen left.
Huo Junshan started making his bed by himself; from now on, he would be sleeping alone in the main room.

Wen Yingqiu came out of the house and saw him fiddling with something in the main room by himself: "Xiao Huo, what are you doing?"
Huo Junshan chuckled twice: "My mother told me to sleep outside, while she sleeps inside at night to take care of the child."
Wen Yingqiu smiled and said, "Your mother hasn't rested well these past few days. I'll take care of her tonight. Let her get some rest for a couple of days."
"Besides, we're leaving in a couple of days, and your mother will be so busy she won't have time to breathe."
Huo Junshan smiled and said, "It's alright. If she's happy to be busy, let her be busy! You all should get some rest too. I'll be there tonight; I don't get much sleep."
Huo Junshan made the bed and poured her a glass of spiritual spring water: "Mom, drink some water."
"Okay, I'll go check on Ningning and the baby."
She drank the water and then went inside.
The two children are sleeping soundly now.
The sound of her opening the door startled Yun Ningyan awake.
"Mom, have you rested enough?"
Wen Yingqiu smiled and said, "I took a nap and I'm all rested. The two little ones are sleeping soundly."
