Huo Changlan was furious. She glared at Huo Junshan and Yun Ningyan.
And look at Yang Dasheng, Huo Min has such a good son-in-law!
That's really a waste.
"Yun Ningyan, you really know how to play the game. I asked you to help Qingqing find a match, but you wouldn't."
"Now we've found Huo Min a husband."
"Hmph! You've all ganged up on us orphans and widows."
The brigade leader was inside smoking his pipe, but he wouldn't come out.

In the end, Li Xiangyun opened the door.

Yao Qingqing has probably been scammed.

Huo Changgen remained silent.

Li Xiangyun waved her hand in refusal: "Come on! She hates Lao San and Ningning to death, we won't go that far!"
"After the fourth brother starts working, I'll tell him to keep an eye out for him; he travels all over the country frequently."
Huo Changgen: That's fine too, we can't help with anything else.
Yun Ningyan is in the bedroom right now; the two children are asleep.
She hasn't had milk for most of the day.
She took off her shoes and got onto the kang (a heated brick bed), ready to take a nap.
Huo Junshan had just heard what Huo Changlan said.
"Honey, I think Yao Qingqing is most likely not coming back. She's probably been scammed."
"They could be human traffickers, or they could be some nobody from out of town looking to buy a wife!"
Yun Ningyan nodded: "In that situation, no matter who said it wouldn't work, it was useless. Huo Changlan just wanted that five hundred yuan."
"Then just accept it! Anyway, we can't control it, and even if we could, we wouldn't interfere."
