Yun Qinzhi went to check on his daughter, then called Huo Junshan to a quiet place to talk.
The father-in-law and son-in-law had different thoughts.
Yun Qinzhi cut to the chase: "What exactly is wrong with you two?"
"It's just about going abroad! How did it escalate to the point of divorce?!"
Huo Junshan smiled and said, "If it really is a matter of going abroad, I'll go abroad right now."
Yun Qinzhi was completely confused by what he said.
Does this mean there are other problems?
"Do you have any other questions?"
Huo Junshan: "Actually, I don't know either. She said before that if I didn't go abroad, she would divorce me."
"But it was just talk; he didn't actually say he absolutely had to get a divorce."
"Dad, I don't really know what's wrong with her either."
Yun Qinzhi nodded: "Okay, I understand. I'll ask her when she feels a bit better."
"Don't upset her these next few days. Let her recover first."
He started thinking about going abroad, and the whole thing began with the idea of going abroad.
He hesitated for a moment: "Xiao Huo, do you really not want to go abroad?"
"Dad, I know this opportunity is rare."

“But I can’t bear to leave Ningning. I’m worried about her being home alone.”
"But now, I'm definitely going."
Yun Qinzhi nodded: "It's good that you can figure it out."

"Girls need to be coaxed. If she does something wrong, you can't take it personally."
"You can't yell at her, and you definitely can't hit her."
Huo Junshan recalled the last time Ningning said she would divorce him if he didn't go abroad, and how he had been so angry.
I yelled at her a couple of times, and my parents probably found out.
He nodded: "Dad, I know. I would rather hit myself than lay a hand on her."
