After the two finished their meal, they headed towards the brigade headquarters.
They arrived early; there weren't many people there yet.
The team leader and the accountant were both busy. The accountant took out a large blackboard, preparing to use it later.
Huo Junshan carried a stool to a seat in the front row, and sat down next to Yun Ningyan.
The members gradually arrived.
The battalion commander cleared his throat and shouted through a megaphone, "Sit down, everyone! Today's topic is about the quotas for the Workers, Peasants and Soldiers University, that's why I asked you all to come!"
"I'll go first. There's only one spot available. As for who it is, that depends on your votes."
“All high school graduates who want to run for office, stand up. Those who don’t want to run, don’t stand up.”
"Let everyone know who you are?"
The educated youth settlement had the most people; besides Lin Mengmeng, Zhang Qiang, and Liang Weiwei, no one else stood up.
There were a few men, namely Ji Boyu, Liu Liguo, and Qian Dazhi, who did not stand up.
Everyone else stood up.
Meng Zhenzhen stood up excitedly and even gave Li Dawang a look.
It was a look of absolute determination.
Even Song Pandi, whom she hadn't seen in a long time, stood up. Yun Ningyan looked at Song Pandi and felt that she had changed a lot.
Since her mother and second mother died, she rarely goes out to play.
Most of the time, they stay at home alone or go to work.
She seems to be doing quite well; her face has gained weight and her complexion is much rosier.
The clothes no longer have patches.
When she saw Yun Ningyan looking at her, she actually nodded slightly at Yun Ningyan and smiled.
Has Song Pandi changed for the better?

With so many people speaking up for Zhang Hongmei, Wang Dachuan's arrogance grew even stronger.
He slapped her again.
The captain's face immediately turned cold.
"Boss, second boss, you two get Wang Dachuan out of here!"
Huo Guodong and Huo Guoliang helped Wang Dachuan out.
No one dared to speak anymore, and Wang Dachuan's mother pulled Zhang Hongmei away.
Zhang Hongmei desperately didn't want to go back in order to register!
She didn't want to miss this opportunity.
But no one could help her; her mother-in-law pulled her away, and the election continued.
The accountant's name has already been written down, and there are four or five members.

When the brigade leader said that, the few people who had stood up at the educated youth settlement were dumbfounded.
The captain's bizarre move left them all bewildered.
How dare you issue a notice and expect us to choose?
Aren't we going to give them some time?
The captain is probably doing this because he's afraid people will cheat, right?
Once everyone understood this, they all felt that the captain was really cunning.
