Huo Jianguo obediently blew out the light.
Huo Jianguo realized that the two of them had misunderstood, and only then did he let his guard down.
He scooped the person into his arms with a large hand.
Niu Cuicui was taken aback for a moment, then burst into laughter.
She swung her fist and started punching Huo Jianguo hard.
Huo Jianguo remained motionless as she hit him until she was tired, at which point he stopped.
Huo Jianguo asked with a smile, "Tired from playing?"
Before Niu Cuicui could speak, he scooped her up into his arms.
Once the two of them have resolved their inner conflicts, isn't the rest just a matter of time?
Huo Jianguo leaned down and pressed himself against Niu Cuicui, capturing her lips in his mouth.
He suddenly felt a pang of self-reproach for not asking questions earlier and missing two or three months.
He even took the opportunity to ask Niu Cuicui, "Cuicui, do you still think I'm not good enough?"
Niu Cuicui's face turned red.
She nodded without saying anything.
"Hahaha."
The two of them kept going for most of the night, and Niu Cuicui was exhausted!
Then he fell into a deep sleep.
Huo Jianguo closed his eyes contentedly.
The next day, Huo Jianguo got up early and went to work feeling refreshed.
Niu Cuicui, however, was unable to get out of bed.
I was up for too long last night!
That's why she couldn't get up today.
What should we do?
While everyone else was getting up to go to work, she was too tired to get out of bed.
Before leaving, Huo Jianguo told him, "You don't need to get up, sleep a little longer."
Niu Cuicui was worried: "If I don't get up, will Mother cook alone?"
Huo Jianguo patted her head: "It's okay, Mom and I will be there later, you can sleep peacefully!"
Huo Jianguo put on his clothes and went straight to the kitchen.
"mother!"
When Li Xiangyun saw him get up, she didn't want to talk to him. The more she thought about what happened yesterday, the angrier she became.
I'm going to teach him a lesson today.
So she said irritably, "What mother? Get up and go to work! What's the point of wasting time!"
Huo Jianguo wasn't annoyed; he just chuckled twice.
"Mom, I'm going to work. Cui Cui can't get up today, let her sleep a little longer."
Li Xiangyun suddenly looked up, and exclaimed in surprise, "It's done?"
Huo Jianguo nodded.
Li Xiangyun chuckled.
"Great! I'll go talk to Niu Erhua about it in a bit."
She was very pleased with herself; what Niu Erhua said yesterday was truly blunt!
She's going to go and show off to Niu Erhua today.
And look at her saying the eldest brother isn't good enough.
This made her suspicious.
That's good! It probably won't be long before Cuicui has good news.
The Huo family is thriving.
But what if Cui Cui has two more children? How will we appease her then?
There are already five now.
She couldn't handle two more.
I need to talk to my eldest son and suggest we wait a couple of years before having another child.
Knowing that Cui Cui must have been tired last night, she quickly steamed three bowls of steamed egg custard for her.
Each of the three daughters-in-law received a bowl.
Yun Ningyan was still asleep at home. She was waiting for her mother-in-law to finish cooking so she could take her and the child to eat in the front of the house.
Huo Junshan has already gone to work.
By the time the meal was ready, the workers had returned to eat.
Li Xiangyun didn't even eat; she went to find Niu Erhua.
"Niu Erhua, you still say my son is no good? Cuicui still hasn't gotten up, but it happened last night!"
Aunt Niu is eating.
I almost choked.
Yesterday, Cui Cui was complaining to her, but she's fine today?
She still couldn't quite believe it!
"Really?"
Li Xiangyun clapped her hands and said happily, "Of course it's true. The boss said it himself. There was a misunderstanding between the two of them."
"It's all right now that we've talked it out."
Niu Erhua nodded: "That's good. Next year, let Cuicui give you a big, fat grandson."
Li Xiangyun was furious.
"Well, I think it would be better to have another child in a couple of years. I'm really too busy right now."
"Those two from the third son's family are such a nuisance; they need two people to take care of them every day!"
"It can already sit up, and it will be able to walk after the New Year. Let me rest for a year or two."
"I'm so tired!"
Niu Erhua glared at him: "I don't care about that, you're in charge of the other grandsons!"
"You're going to take care of my Cui Cui too? I won't allow it if you don't."
Li Xiangyun quickly waved her hand, turned around and left.
She didn't want to talk to Niu Erhua anymore.
With so many children at home, how is she supposed to manage them?
Hopefully, God will have mercy and prevent Cuicui from getting pregnant so early.
No, no, she has to talk to the boss.
Tell him to be careful.
She returned home and quickly ate the meal.
"Second brother, third brother, fifth brother, you three clean up the dishes."
"Boss, come in with me, I have something to say."
The sons looked at each other, and Huo Junshan took the lead in clearing away the dishes.
Huo Jianguo followed Li Xiangyun into the house.
Huo Changgen didn't know what was going on either.
Huo Jianguo followed his mother into the house.
"Mother, what is it? I'm waiting to go to work."
Li Xiangyun asked him to sit down, and she sat down herself.
"Jianguo, when are you and Cuicui planning to have a child?"
She originally wanted to tell her directly not to have children so early, but then she thought that if Cui Cui found out, she would be angry.
The words were on the tip of his tongue, but he hesitated to speak.
Huo Jianguo was stunned. They had just consummated their marriage yesterday, and today they were already urging each other to have a baby.
"Mother, we're not in a rush right now. Cui Cui doesn't want to have a child so early either. Let's wait a couple of years!"
If you have too many children, you can't afford to raise them all.
