Yun Ningyan was afraid that Huo Junshan would find her after work, so she asked Zhang Qiang to tell him.
The two of them left.
They didn't go deep into the mountains; they just looked at the foot of the mountain to see if any wild vegetables could be found.
I searched for ages but couldn't find a single wild vegetable.
Lin Mengmeng was furious!
It's already March and there are still no wild vegetables growing. That's way too late!
Yun Ningyan smiled and said, "Winter is long here, and wild vegetables need time to sprout and grow. Don't just look at the trees in the grove where they've sprouted; the wild vegetables are still underground."
In fact, Yun Ningyan understood that she was just talking nonsense with a straight face.
It was all to comfort Lin Mengmeng.
Finding nothing, the two had no choice but to return home.
Everyone goes back to their homes.
On the way down the mountain, we ran into Zhang Qiang and Huo Junshan.
Yun Ningyan blinked and smiled at Huo Junshan, her eyes crinkling: "Why are you here? Didn't Zhang Zhiqing tell you?"
Huo Junshan: "I was worried, so I came here."
"Let's go back!"
The two women each took their own men and went home.
Huo Junshan laughed and said, "I want to eat wild vegetables, but there aren't any yet. We'll have to wait another half a month for them to be available. When that time comes, we can go up the mountain to dig them up if you want to eat them. Just don't go up the mountain by yourself!"
Huo Junshan was still worried and gave another warning, as he was most afraid that Yanyan would go up the mountain alone.
Yun Ningyan shook his arm, turned her head to look around to make sure no one was there, and then secretly kissed Huo Junshan on the cheek.
"Alright, I'll take you with me from now on, okay?"
"Oh my! What have I just seen! You two are really shameless."
