"Even I, who's been tied up by you guys, am not in such a hurry!"
"Besides, my sister might not have seen the text message; maybe she didn't see it at all!"
Third Brother first waved his hand, then looked at Jiang Yuchuan with a cold face and said.
"I'll call your sister again. Wait at least an hour, or I'll cut off one of your little fingers as a warning!"
After saying that, he took out his phone and made a call.
Jiang Ningxi saw the phone on the table ring and answered it a few seconds later.
Sure enough, that cold voice came from the other side.
"Is the money ready?"
Jiang Ningxi answered.
"I'm halfway done, but I need a little more time to finish the rest."
"You're getting one more hour. If you don't see the money by then, don't blame us for being ruthless towards your brother!"
He hung up without pausing at all after saying that.
Jiang Yuchuan broke out in a cold sweat.
He had never been so scared in his life.
Just as the kidnapper was about to say something...
Suddenly, one of the henchmen ran in from outside.
"Third Brother! There are people outside! They say they're Nisa's men!"
Upon hearing this, the third brother frowned.
"Nisha? What are those women doing here? We've always kept to ourselves!"
The younger brother immediately replied, "They said they've come to ask for someone back."
"She said this woman surnamed Jiang is one of her people, and she wants to take her away."
"What the hell? She says she can just take it away like that! Fine, but make her bring money!" Third Brother spat on the ground, his facial muscles contorted with anger, making him look ferocious.
The younger brother swallowed hard. "They brought a whole carload of people, and their weapons are better than ours."
"They also said that if we don't release them, we'll be going against the family behind Nisa."
"But I'll let him go, just to make a friend."
Third Brother got even angrier and almost ground his back teeth to powder.
But then I thought, what else can we do? They're one of the top three families in Siam.
They are no match for them at all.
