"Dog Girl, I'm begging you, please come with me!"

But Jiang Ningxi's eyes darted around, and she coldly uttered two words, "No!"

A sense of unease crept in. "Why is no one here? Did they leave?"
So he came for nothing?
Standing behind him, Jiang Ningxi glanced at him and said, "What's the rush? Let's look elsewhere."
Although Jiang Yuchen nodded, she hesitated to take a step.
Jiang Ningxi was speechless and kicked his shin.
"Go quickly, what are you afraid of? I'm right behind you!"
"Since I promised you, I won't let anything happen to you."
Thinking of her skills, Jiang Yuchen felt inexplicably at ease.
"Then, I'll look in the woods over there."
Before long, he arrived at a nearby grove of trees.
It was pitch black inside, and all was quiet except for the chirping of insects.

I quickly went over to take a look.
Then they saw a white figure sitting on the ground in the woods.

"You twisted your thigh?"

"Then why did you pull your skirt up so high? Put it down, I can see clearly." Jiang Yuchen felt she had done a great job, remaining vigilant at all times!
Bai Xue was speechless and could only pull her clothes down a bit.

Bai Xue: ...Then why are you staring at my ankle?!

Jiang Yuchen didn't reach out her hand; instead, she took out her phone and showed her the text message.
"You posted this, didn't you? Don't deny it. I can find out later."
Bai Xue had anticipated that he would ask that question.
Somewhat embarrassed, he said, "I sent it."
"You saved me from the sea this morning, and I wanted to thank you, so I texted you to ask you out."
Jiang Yuchen thought to himself, "Just as I thought."
Then I asked, "So what is gratitude?"
Seeing his questioning and curious gaze as he faced me.
Bai Xue was speechless. She coughed lightly, her cheeks slightly flushed, and looked at him. "What do you want?"
"Forget about the money, I don't need it. As for treating me to meals or anything like that, I'm trying to lose weight."
"Never mind, it was nothing, no need to thank me."
