Su Meng exchanged a glance with him, then looked at the little woman who was still riding on the pirate, frantically punching and biting him, and sighed.
Quietly removing the silver needle from the pirate's neck, she said in a hoarse voice, "He's dead! Sister-in-law, your child is alright."
The young woman was absorbed in her own world, forcefully shaking off Su Meng's hand and continuing to punch and bite.
Seeing her acting like a madwoman, the child cried even harder in fear, his cries becoming heart-wrenching.
Su Meng's eyes welled up with tears as she stroked the child's hair. "Go tell your mother that the bad guys are dead and we've won."
The child grunted and blew two big bubbles out of his nostrils.
He grabbed the young woman's clothes, "Mom, Mom, he's dead!"
The young woman stopped.
She looked blankly at the child, then at the pirate beneath her, whose flesh was not intact, paused for a moment, then rolled over, hugged the child, and burst into tears.

Su Meng silently stepped back and joined the ranks of those treating the wounded.
"Thank you!" Suddenly, a deep, husky voice rang out from above.
Su Meng paused, looked up at the man who had spoken, and quickly finished bandaging him. "Thank you for protecting us!"
If it weren't for the men's bravery, the people wouldn't have been inspired to fight the pirates, and they wouldn't have been able to wait for the police to rescue them.

He originally meant to say that it was dangerous for a young girl to be carrying such a long knife.
Then he remembered that it was this forearm-length knife that had just helped him win, and he swallowed the words he was about to say along with his saliva.
Fortunately, things calmed down afterward, and Su Meng returned to her room to rest with peace of mind.
Just as the sun was setting, there was another knock on the door.
Su Meng's heart skipped a beat. Had she encountered pirates again?
"Comrade, the captain said that to thank you for your courage and bravery in the face of danger, he would like to invite you to dine in the restaurant." The crew member smiled and looked at Su Meng with admiration.

The group at that table consisted of the captain, the crew, two ship's police officers, a man wearing a white vest over a military green shirt, and a young woman with a child.
There was a seat left next to the man.
"Please come and sit down!" The captain stood up and politely gestured with his uninjured hand.
The young woman seemed to notice her unease and said with a smile, "Young comrade, come here quickly!"
The captain treated us to a lavish meal.
The atmosphere at the table was fairly relaxed.
After the captain and crew thanked Su Meng and the man in the white vest, the men began to devour the food in a whirlwind.
Su Meng ate elegantly and slowly, chatting with the young woman from time to time.
"So you're a military wife! That's amazing!" Su Meng gave a thumbs up, expressing her sincere admiration.
"You're quite brave! I was only able to defeat the pirates because of everyone's help."
