Chapter 27 Mom, Mom, he's dead!

Chapter 27 Mom, Mom, he's dead!

"two."

Someone cried and begged for mercy: "Hero, spare me! I'll hand it over, I'll hand it over right now, I want to live."

Some scoffed, "Coward! You think he'll let you go? Dream on! Let's all charge in and fight!"

"Let's fight! Down with the bandits and tyrants!"

......

Su Meng huddled in the crowd, cautiously moving towards the crew.

She carefully observed the group and set her sights on the man in the white vest who was squatting among the crew members and had obvious calluses on the back of his hands.

There's no other reason than that his sharp, dangerous gaze was all too familiar.

He might be a soldier.

The thought flashed through Su Meng's mind, and she trembled with excitement.

Boss Luo seemed to really enjoy the feeling of being in control of everything.

He slung his gun over his shoulder, a smile playing on his lips, and strolled slowly, enjoying the struggle of his "prey" and the thrill of having everything under his control.

He wasn't in a hurry to count, and every now and then he would turn his head to glance at the cabin.

Suddenly, three pirates carrying bundles emerged from the cabin.

"Boss, we've collected everything. There's nothing of value here, what do you think?"

Luo Laoda kicked the bundle and cursed, "A bunch of poor bastards! Well then, I won't be polite."

He angrily cocked his gun and squinted at the crowd with one eye.

"one."

"No! ...I'll risk it all!"

"Wow......"

The crowd immediately erupted into chaos.

The sounds of pleas for mercy, angry curses, and cries mingled together.

As the various sounds arose, some people dodged, moved, ran, crawled to the ground, or fainted...

Taking advantage of the chaos, Su Meng moved to the side of the man in the white vest. She glanced at his left hand, which was so deep that the bone was visible, and her face scrunched up in distress.

Can he rise again?

But the situation was pressing, leaving no time for further thought.

She cut the ropes binding him, hesitated for a long time, and handed him the knife, asking, "Are you still capable?"

man:"......"

He looked at the pale-faced girl, who was sweating profusely and whose lips were trembling. In the end, he said nothing, bent down, and crept towards the nearby pirates.

He wanted to subdue them one by one, and most importantly, seize a gun.

Su Meng moved among the crew members, her teeth chattering with fear as she helped untie them.

Just then, Boss Luo's gun was about to be pointed at the woman who was pulled out first.

The captain suddenly stood up and lunged at the nearby pirates, shouting, "Quick, go save them!"

Su Meng didn't understand what he meant.

But then they saw Boss Luo shift his gun barrel to the side, aiming it at the captain.

She sensed something was wrong and, using the person in front of her as cover, flicked out a silver needle.

This was her first attempt at killing someone with silver needles.

She was so scared that she trembled all over and her hands and feet went weak.

As a result, of course, the target was not hit.

Then, the captain roared, "Go now!"

The next second, a crew member ran away.

"Bang!"

It's unclear which pirate fired the shot, but the first crew member to run out fell to the ground.

Nevertheless, the other crew member who ran out did not stop and ran like a madman.

Old Luo was furious and roared, "Begin!"

At the same time, he fired a shot.

Along with the gunshot came the sound of a pirate being stabbed and falling to the ground.

Immediately afterwards, the man in the white coat seized the gun and fought back.

A single shot struck the pirate who had leaped to block Boss Luo's path.

Boss Luo roared again and raised his gun to return fire.

But the next second, he seemed to be frozen in place, his body stiffened, and his large, bell-like eyes were filled with terror and panic, as well as... the struggle of his last moments.

"Boss!"

The pirates stared in horror at the body that had fallen to the ground with a thud.

On his temple, a silver needle was stuck next to the bleeding hole, gleaming with a cold, eerie silver light.

Su Meng didn't expect that she could actually hit Boss Luo.

Feeling much relieved, she excitedly took out a handful of silver needles and threw them, regardless of whether they hit the target or not.

As the man in the white vest was struck in the other arm, his movements slowed considerably, and the pirates gradually surrounded him, laughing wildly.

Su Meng trembled as she pulled out her pistol.

She never fired a gun.

She was scared and panicked.

But the fear of death triumphed over everything.

She fumbled around for the pistol haphazardly, but finally managed to pull the trigger.

Just then, two men in police uniforms, covered in blood, rushed out of the cabin.

The crew member who had sneaked in was following behind.

"Bang bang bang!"

They opened fire as soon as they came out, without pausing for a moment.

The sudden counterattack caught the pirates off guard.

In just a moment, the situation was brought under control.

Of the ten pirates, only two were seriously injured.

The man in the white coat, carrying a blood-stained longsword, glanced around and, upon seeing Su Meng in the crowd, curled the corners of his lips into a smile.

Su Meng exchanged a glance with him, then looked at the little woman who was still riding on the pirate, frantically punching and biting him, and sighed.

Quietly removing the silver needle from the pirate's neck, she said in a hoarse voice, "He's dead! Sister-in-law, your child is alright."

The young woman was absorbed in her own world, forcefully shaking off Su Meng's hand and continuing to punch and bite.

Seeing her acting like a madwoman, the child cried even harder in fear, his cries becoming heart-wrenching.

Su Meng's eyes welled up with tears as she stroked the child's hair. "Go tell your mother that the bad guys are dead and we've won."

The child grunted and blew two big bubbles out of his nostrils.

He grabbed the young woman's clothes, "Mom, Mom, he's dead!"

The young woman stopped.

She looked blankly at the child, then at the pirate beneath her, whose flesh was not intact, paused for a moment, then rolled over, hugged the child, and burst into tears.

Earth-shattering.

Su Meng silently stepped back and joined the ranks of those treating the wounded.

"Thank you!" Suddenly, a deep, husky voice rang out from above.

Su Meng paused, looked up at the man who had spoken, and quickly finished bandaging him. "Thank you for protecting us!"

If it weren't for the men's bravery, the people wouldn't have been inspired to fight the pirates, and they wouldn't have been able to wait for the police to rescue them.

Even worse, every single person on the boat would be thrown into the sea to feed the fish.

The man raised an eyebrow, his injured hand stiffly offering the knife hilt. "This is yours, thank you!"

He originally meant to say that it was dangerous for a young girl to be carrying such a long knife.

Then he remembered that it was this forearm-length knife that had just helped him win, and he swallowed the words he was about to say along with his saliva.

Fortunately, things calmed down afterward, and Su Meng returned to her room to rest with peace of mind.

Just as the sun was setting, there was another knock on the door.

Su Meng's heart skipped a beat. Had she encountered pirates again?

"Comrade, the captain said that to thank you for your courage and bravery in the face of danger, he would like to invite you to dine in the restaurant." The crew member smiled and looked at Su Meng with admiration.

Su Meng raised an eyebrow in surprise, "Thank you!"

The huge restaurant only had a few rectangular tables temporarily pieced together.

There were no other diners.

The group at that table consisted of the captain, the crew, two ship's police officers, a man wearing a white vest over a military green shirt, and a young woman with a child.

There was a seat left next to the man.

"Please come and sit down!" The captain stood up and politely gestured with his uninjured hand.

The young woman seemed to notice her unease and said with a smile, "Young comrade, come here quickly!"

The captain treated us to a lavish meal.

The atmosphere at the table was fairly relaxed.

After the captain and crew thanked Su Meng and the man in the white vest, the men began to devour the food in a whirlwind.

Su Meng ate elegantly and slowly, chatting with the young woman from time to time.

"So you're a military wife! That's amazing!" Su Meng gave a thumbs up, expressing her sincere admiration.

"You're quite brave! I was only able to defeat the pirates because of everyone's help."

Young comrade, where are you going?

Before the young woman could finish speaking, a crew member rushed in.

He whispered something in the captain's ear, and the captain's expression changed drastically. "I'll go check it out!"
