Xie Zhiyan was at his wits' end. Their happy life was still a long way off, and Shu Ying would eventually have to accept this from the bottom of her heart.
Finally regaining her senses, Shu Ying's mind cleared considerably. She leaned closer, while Xie Zhiyan gazed at her with rapt attention.
Her ears were so red they looked like they could breathe out of a steam engine. She coughed lightly, trying to calm Yu Ni down in the room.
"You've already finished kissing, go take a shower and get some rest!"
Shu Ying glanced at Xie Zhiyan out of the corner of her eye, then casually shook the blanket.
They are a legally recognized married couple, so there's nothing to be ashamed of doing this kind of thing.
His breathing seemed even more rapid than hers; he was too weak. He definitely needed to practice more.
She simply couldn't see Xie Zhiyan's struggle, nor could she understand the obsession hidden in his eyes.
If the two of them were to sleep together tonight, it would be a huge challenge for him. He has never had any self-control when it comes to Shu Ying, and he can't refuse anything.
Although sharing a bed with her was something he had thought about for many years, Shu Ying's current state was quite dangerous. Whether for his own health or for Shu Ying's ability to accept it, sleeping in separate rooms was the best solution.
Xie Zhiyan let out a long sigh of relief, picked up the pillow and blanket beside him, and awkwardly turned his head away, almost not daring to look Shu Ying in the eye.
She would definitely think he's pathetic in his current state.
"You should get some rest. I'll sleep in another room tonight."
