Pregnancy is so exhausting! Even a little emotional strain can cause such a strong reaction...
After much deliberation, Shu Ying decided that they should not underestimate the situation.
After all, her last pregnancy with twins Yangyang and Yueyue had been quite a ordeal for her, with her hormones going wildly out of whack and increasing during pregnancy.
She needs strong self-control just to regulate her emotions, not to mention these out-of-control hormones, which could very likely cause tumors and nodules to grow in her body, which is a headache to think about.
Now that I'm pregnant with triplets, I can't relax even more.
I'd feel more at ease soaking in the spiritual spring in the space.
Shu Ying closed the door and simply entered the space, where she soaked in a spiritual spring-themed hot spring.
Before going in, they didn't forget to put some calming and tranquilizing herbs into the water.
These medicinal herbs were all grown using water from the Fairy Spring, and their medicinal properties and quality are excellent.
With these, it can be considered a medicinal hot spring bath.
After soaking in the hot spring, the moment Shu Ying stepped out of the space, she clearly felt much more relaxed than before.
She didn't know if it was because of the spiritual spring water, but she felt that her eyes were clear and that burning anxiety had disappeared.
After being comforted by Xie Mingzhu, she was already much better, and now all the restlessness and depression in her body has been completely cleared away.
It felt like gulping down a glass of cool, refreshing spring water when you were thirsty; every pore on your body felt incredibly comfortable, and you regained your former tranquility.
In fact, Shu Ying had already discovered that the spiritual spring had a significant impact on her, but she never expected it to have such a great effect on her emotions.
Moreover, when she was pregnant with Yangyang and Yueyue last time, she had quite severe pregnancy symptoms. At this time of her last pregnancy, she should have been experiencing back pain, leg aches, and all sorts of discomfort, and even the smells would make her nauseous.
But this time, she hasn't experienced any pregnancy symptoms so far.
Aside from the fact that I looked pale because I was too emotional, there were basically no other effects.
You know, if that dream is true, she's pregnant with triplets this time.
Surprisingly, it wasn't as exhausting as my two pregnancies last time.
If that's the case... Shu Ying had a premonition.
This time, it probably won't be as difficult as when I gave birth to Yangyang and Yueyue.
Shu Ying sighed sincerely once again.
This spiritual spring water is truly a wonderful thing!
For the rest of the afternoon, Shu Ying remained very calm.
Xie Mingzhu is right. There's no use in her being anxious now. It's better to wait patiently for news from her father. Once they get in touch with him, the two of them can then find a way to search for her mother together.
Otherwise, she's just worrying for nothing.
After a good afternoon of eating, drinking, and sleeping, Shu Ying's complexion returned to normal. When Xie Mingzhu saw her at dinner, she felt much more at ease.
That night, Shu Ying had another dream.
In the dream, she seemed to be a transparent, invisible person; she couldn't even see her own fingers when she stretched out her hand.
She wandered around aimlessly and found herself in what appeared to be a village, with mud walls and thatched roofs everywhere, as well as stone walls and thatched roofs.
This village doesn't seem to be very wealthy.
Shu Ying casually pushed open a door and stepped into the room, where she saw a woman lying stiffly on a haystack.
It seems that she doesn't not want to move, but rather that she can't.
She had several obvious wounds on her body, the cause of which was unknown. Her clothes were torn and tattered, with blackened and dried blood stains clinging to the fabric and stretching the tears open.
This allowed Shu Ying to clearly see some festering, pus-filled wounds inside.
Shu Ying was startled.
How did this person get so badly injured!
She instinctively wanted to go inside to find medical supplies to bandage the other person's wound, but after searching around, she found nothing.
There were only two broken bowls on the table, and nothing else in the cupboard except for a few tattered clothes and old quilts.
Just as Shu Ying was getting anxious, she suddenly realized that someone seemed to be staring at her.
She turned her head and was met with a face that was trying to smile kindly.
Shu Ying stared wide-eyed in disbelief.
The woman lying on the haystack was actually her mother!
She looked incredulously at her hands, which she couldn't see at all, and then at her mother.
"Mom, can you see me?"
Her mother didn't say anything, she just watched her quietly.
Shu Ying realized it almost instantly, and tears streamed down her face as she rushed over, trying to hug her mother.
"Mom, what happened to you? How did you get so badly injured?"
"Where is this place? Tell me, tell me and I'll find someone to rescue you!"
As Shuying spoke, she lunged forward, only to find that she couldn't hug her mother at all.
The next second, an unknown force lifted her up and pushed her towards the outside of the house, opposite her mother's direction.
As Shu Ying watched herself being pushed further and further away, tears of fear and worry streamed down her face like broken beads.
"Mommy, I don't want to go, Mommy—"
In her final moments, she saw her mother trying to smile and wave goodbye.
It was as if they would never see each other again, and they wanted to leave him with the best impression on their last meeting.
"No--!!!"
In the darkness, Shu Ying suddenly sat up.
The next second, the desk lamp turned on.
Xie Zhiyan looked at her with concern and gently put his arm around her shoulder.
"Yingying, did you have a nightmare?"
Shu Ying dared not relax and desperately tried to recall the dream she had just had.
When she first started drifting outside, she saw that behind the houses that resembled a village, there were distant, rolling mountains.
