"You want me to sell cosmetics?"
Ji Nianqin looked at the big boxes, and when the woman with glasses opened them, they were empty.
"This is the ice cream I bought for you, but it's shaped like a small bowl for cosmetics."
"How bizarre! You can actually have fun like this? Aren't there a lot of weird things these days? When I came here, I passed by a shop that was full of toilets with dishes inside. It was called something like Toilet Hotpot. Can you really eat it?"
"Of course, that's only a small part. We also have ice cream cakes. We have a lot of new things, but no one is as good as mine. You can take a look inside."
Ji Nianqin looked around and saw that it was a busy downtown area with people coming and going. Moreover, this was a small villa and it seemed very prosperous. Ji Nianqin walked in without thinking, but what she saw inside was another large empty space.

When Ji Nianqin was wondering, the woman with glasses pushed her inside hard. She heard a "hissing" sound, as if something was on fire.
A door appeared in front of Ji Nianqin and was soon opened. Dozens of people were crowded in the room of less than ten square meters.
"Welcome, welcome, a warm welcome."
The crowd gradually got bigger and bigger, and the room was crowded. Add to that the smell of stinky feet, and a few flies landed on her head from time to time. Ji Nianqin was about to run out, but someone closed the door.
"Are you a doctor too? Hello, I just came back from abroad. We are arguing over an omelet right now. If you want to eat it, maybe you can give me your chopsticks."
Ji Nianqin's stomach was really rumbling, and the man in front of her really gave her an egg pancake, which was indeed burnt.

Ji Nianqin glanced at their hideous faces and didn't feel that they were very happy. Instead, they looked a little scary.

"Are you really a doctor?"
Ji Nianqin asked the man in front of her curiously, but unexpectedly another person came out to answer.
"We all have high academic qualifications. I was brought here when I was working as a tutor. That's when I realized what real life is like."
As the woman spoke, she took out the small car in her hand and kept sliding it on the ground.
"Are you all crazy? This is just a toy's house. The living conditions here are worse than a slum. If I had known the living conditions here were like this, I would never have come here."
Ji Nianqin didn't want to talk to them anymore and was banging on the door when a familiar voice appeared.
"I'm Maomao. After you skipped class, I wanted to come look for you, but I was tricked into coming here. It's a pyramid scheme, and everyone's been brainwashed. The woman who just sent you here teaches them almost every day and doesn't let them sell anything. All she does is recruit people to develop a downline."
Maomao tugged at Ji Nianqin's trouser leg, looking pitiful as if she hadn't taken a bath for several days.
"Let's think about how to escape..."
