Chapter 8 The Prince is Missing

Princess Mingyue is a smart little girl, and what she says is often half true and half false. It is not known whether she really saw it or is just using words to deceive.

"Princess Mingyue, the Crown Prince is really not here."

The counselor thought that he could seal the seam with his flesh by leaning against the cabinet, but Princess Mingyue easily broke through the barrier.

"Hehe, it turns out that Fifth Brother is playing hide-and-seek with me."

When Princess Mingyue crawled in, there was no one inside, only a small bell tied with a long red rope.

“Lulu, Lulu!”

Princess Mingyue was behind the cabinet, making a lot of noise.

"Oh no! If the Crown Prince offends Princess Mingyue, he will definitely be deposed. The Emperor loves the clever, mischievous and lovely Princess Mingyue very much, and Lulu was indeed severely injured by the Crown Prince's kick."

"What are you mumbling about? I'm asking you a question. Why is the bell on Lulu's neck there? There's no sign of it. And where is my fifth brother?"

"The prince is not here?"

The strategist swallowed and found that there was indeed nothing behind the cabinet.

He had just given the dog bell to the prince, who held it in his hand and ordered him to prepare a dog meat feast.

Where is the prince?

"Advisor, the Crown Prince must have hidden himself somewhere, but should we proceed with the next task? Dinner will be served soon. Otherwise, you can deal with Princess Mingyue here, and I will help you go to the imperial kitchen and ask them to prepare a table of dog meat..."

A guard came forward and whispered with the counselor, while Princess Mingyue quietly walked between them, looking up and eavesdropping.

"Dog meat? You want to eat dog meat?"

Princess Mingyue pinched the thighs of both men with both hands at the same time and pulled them upwards with force.

"Princess Mingyue, please spare my life."

The counselors and several guards immediately knelt before Princess Mingyue. Her small body was like the heart of a flower, hidden in the pistil.

"Dogs are so cute, why do we eat dog meat?"

In front of Princess Mingyue, it seemed as if Lulu, who could sing and dance, appeared. She was her best friend in the palace.

Princess Mingyue is full of energy, and perhaps only Lulu can accompany her to the end. She often utters a few scales from her mouth, as if singing, and can stand up on her front legs and take a few steps like a human.

Although not much different from other dogs, in Princess Mingyue's heart, Lulu, who is one year older than her, has become her good friend.

"Your Highness, don't worry, it's definitely not Lulu who's eating it."

The guard's explanation seemed to make the situation worse.

For Princess Mingyue, who is only five years old, it is inevitable that she will have divergent thoughts, wild imaginations, and random fantasies.

"Yes, Lulu is a dog. You actually...Where's Fifth Brother? Call him out. Why hasn't he come out to see me yet? If he doesn't show up, I'll tell the Emperor."

Princess Mingyue sat down on the ground and refused to get up no matter who called her.

"Princess Mingyue, please sit in the chair for a while. I will go find the Crown Prince now."

The strategist's IQ clearly feels insufficient.

"Advisor, what should we do? We've searched high and low for him, but it seems the prince is no longer in the palace."

"Impossible! I saw with my own eyes the prince move behind the cabinet. How could a living person disappear in the blink of an eye? If the emperor were to come, it would be a disaster. Where is the cabinet? Have you searched inside?"

"Everywhere."

Princess Mingyue pouted and started rolling on the ground. "Give me back Lulu, give me back Lulu, ah~"

"The Emperor has arrived."
