Chapter 106 Deliberately Seeking Remedies

Chu Wuyang was annoyed by his little actions and glared at him.

But with the help of drowsiness, her eyes lost some of their sharpness and gained a touch of coquettishness.

She sighed, as if admitting defeat, her tone tinged with helplessness:

"What aspect of your opinion?"

Seeing her change in attitude, Jingmin stopped what he was doing.

His expression turned serious, and he slowly began to speak:

"Tell me, did the prince betray the Little Mermaid?"

Chu Wuyang didn't hesitate at all and blurted out:

"How can it not count!"

A hint of disdain flashed in her eyes, as if she was very dissatisfied with the prince's behavior.

Jing Min nodded slightly, then asked:

"What if the Little Mermaid hadn't turned into sea foam and disappeared when the prince got married?"

"But the prince is already married, and the fact that he has betrayed the Little Mermaid is already established,"

"But what should he do if he wants to make amends?"

Chu Wuyang was still groggy and her mind wasn't quite clear.

He said it offhand:

"Then divorce the princess and marry the Little Mermaid?"

After she finished speaking, she yawned, completely unaware of what she had just said.

Jing Min frowned, a stern look flashing in his eyes.

He reached out and flicked Chu Wuyang's forehead, his voice low and serious:

"What nonsense are you spouting!"

"The prince is already married and has fallen in love with the princess,"

"Breaking up someone's marriage will bring you a lot of trouble,"

"Moreover, once someone has given their heart away, how can they easily take it back?"

Chu Wuyang cried out "Ouch!" when flicked, rubbed his forehead, and chuckled:

"If the prince wants to make amends but can't show any sincerity, then what's the point of talking?"

"There's no room for negotiation!"

After Chu Wuyang finished speaking, she pulled the blanket over her face.

It seemed like they didn't want to continue the topic and were preparing to end the conversation.

Seeing this, Jingmin reached out and turned on the light, which instantly illuminated the entire room.

He leaned closer and gently pulled back the blanket. Chu Wuyang was so blinded by the sudden light that she could barely open her eyes.

She raised her hand to cover her eyes and complained in an unhappy tone:

"What are you doing? It's late, go to sleep."

Jing Min ignored her complaints, a rare look of determination appearing on his face as he pressed on:

"You haven't yet suggested an effective way to make amends."

Chu Wuyang sighed helplessly, slightly opening her eyes to look at Jing Min with a squinty gaze, her tone somewhat perfunctory:

"Then give me the money! As a prince, you must have a lot of money!"

"If you can't give love, then give lots and lots of money!"

After Chu Wuyang finished speaking, she closed her eyes again, the corners of her mouth slightly upturned, as if she was quite satisfied with her answer.

Jing Min's expression froze upon hearing this answer.

He frowned slightly, as if seriously considering the feasibility of that statement.

Chu Wuyang waited for a while, and seeing that the person above did not react, she waved her hand in front of his eyes, her tone somewhat impatient:

"What are you doing?"

Jing Min then came to his senses, his expression softening slightly. He looked at Chu Wuyang blankly and asked,

Chu Wuyang said irritably:

"Why would I ask you that?"

As she spoke, she shifted her head upwards, pulled the blanket up to her neck, and muttered:

What are you spacing out for?

"You insist on asking, and you're still not satisfied even after I've told you," Chu Wuyang complained unhappily.

Jing Min looked at her and slowly said:

"You mean, give me money?"

"Yes, giving money is good even without love."

Chu Wuyang opened his eyes, a hint of excitement flashing in them, and said eloquently:

"The Little Mermaid can take lots and lots of money to find all kinds of love."

"Long-legged, slim-waisted young men, sweet and salty little wolf dogs, male models with eight-pack abs, fair-skinned and handsome young hunks, obedient little puppies with perfect emotional intelligence..."

She sat up, counting on her fingers, becoming more and more excited as she spoke.

Jing Min's face grew increasingly dark; his brows furrowed, and a shadow of gloom flashed in his eyes.

He suddenly reached out and tightly grasped Chu Wuyang's excitedly counted ten fingers, lowering his voice to say:

"You still say you didn't identify with the Little Mermaid character?"

Chu Wuyang forcefully broke free from the large hand that was gripping her, her brows furrowing:

"What?!"

"I just feel that the Little Mermaid sacrificed so much for the prince,"

"Since we're talking about compensation, everyone has the right to pursue happiness,"

"I think the Little Mermaid deserves this money, so what's wrong with using it to do things that make her happy?"

Jing Min suddenly chuckled softly, the sound somewhat abrupt in the quiet room, its meaning ambiguous:

"You're right! She definitely deserves it."

After saying that, he slowly lay down, looking at the ceiling, and said slowly:

"According to you, it's actually a blessing that the Little Mermaid was let down,"

"Because the prince will indeed compensate with a lot of money."

He turned to look at Chu Wuyang and said casually:

"Unfortunately, you've misjudged the situation?"

Chu Wuyang was confused by his words. She looked at Jing Min with a puzzled expression.

"What did you say?"

Jing Min's dark eyes were fixed on her, his handsome eyebrows raised, his tone a half-smile:

"You should put yourself in the princess's shoes!"

As he spoke, he suddenly moved closer to Chu Wuyang and planted a light kiss on her cheek, his voice as warm as jade as he said:

"Because the prince will fall in love with you and give you lots and lots of love!"

Chu Wuyang immediately felt ashamed, as if three black lines had appeared on his forehead.

She looked disgusted and pouted.

"Then I'd rather have the money!"
