When Keke came out, Zhou Chen was nowhere to be seen.
At this moment, the battle anthem for the competition began to play.
The shouts from the audience intertwined with the music, creating a noisy and enthusiastic atmosphere.
A few people sat sparsely in the stands, mostly huddled together, their expressions revealing restraint and unease.
Only Jing Min sat alone in a corner, his eyes half-closed, as if the surrounding noise had nothing to do with him.
He stood tall and relaxed, his posture comfortable and at ease, his jet-black hair gleaming softly under the light.
A few strands of hair fell casually across his smooth forehead, making his face appear even more like jade, with clearly defined features.
His eyebrows were long and handsome, with slightly upturned ends that hinted at a touch of unruliness.
His eyes were deep and bright, and even though they were half-closed, they still revealed an unfathomable depth.
Beneath his high, straight nose, his thin lips were slightly pursed, and a faint smile played at the corners of his mouth.
It seems as if one is detached from the world amidst its chaos.
It exudes an otherworldly aura, like a deity stepping out of a painting.
Keke was immediately captivated by him at first glance.
It took her a moment to come to her senses.
But her body seemed to be out of control, and she unconsciously walked slowly toward Jing Min.
Chu Wuyang had been watching from a distance, while Keke stood cautiously behind Jing Min.
Perhaps it was the angle, but her slightly bent-over gesture looked like she was kissing Jingmin.
The competition offstage was in full swing.
Female knights were already few in number, and Yun Yang's dashing riding attire made her stand out even more.
Suddenly, shouts of encouragement caught Jingmin's attention.
Chu Wuyang clearly saw Jing Min sit up straight immediately.
Completely absorbed in his work, he didn't notice Coco approaching.
Chu Wuyang carefully observed Jing Min's reaction and clearly saw the appreciation on Jing Min's face.
She followed the gaze and looked down, inwardly admiring Yun Yang's truly outstanding performance.
However, people really can't resist praise; Yun Yang's next move didn't clear the obstacle.
He was so disheartened that he fell off his horse.
There was a collective sigh at the scene.
Chu Wuyang quickly turned her head to see Jing Min's reaction, only to see that he had indeed closed his eyes with a bored expression.
Oh dear, how could I have made a mistake! That obstacle wasn't even that high!
It was halftime, so Chu Wuyang quickly sent a text message to Yun Yang.
Question her about what happened; this poor performance could ruin everything.
On the other side, Jing Min keenly smelled the familiar fragrance. He narrowed his eyes slightly, his tone full of complaint:
"They took so long; the competition had already started half a day ago."
Keke's cheeks flushed red, unable to hide her excitement, and she slowly sat down beside Jingmin.
Jing Min then opened his eyes and said softly:
"It's a bit cold, here's a blanket..."
Before he could finish speaking, his voice abruptly stopped, and his gaze fell on Keke.
It was the similarity between Ke Ke's perfume and Chu Wuyang's that momentarily captivated him.
A flicker of disgust crossed his eyes, but then, as if remembering something, he quickly concealed the emotion.
Turning his head towards the restroom, he asked:
"And her?"
Keke was still lost in her own world of infatuation when she heard Jingmin's question, and she asked in return:
"Is that the older sister who was with you just now?"
Jing Min's patience had run out, and his face was as cold as ice.
He simply hummed a single "hmm" through his nose.
Keke was at a loss because of his cold attitude, and she nervously clutched the hem of her clothes with both hands.
But when her gaze fell once more upon Jing Min's godlike, handsome face,
The love in my heart surged up like a tidal wave.
I recall that Chu Wuyang once said he was naturally aloof and preferred proactive people.
Keke took a deep breath, mustered her courage, and slowly reached out her hand, wanting to get closer to Jingmin.
Jing Min was completely preoccupied with worrying about Chu Wuyang and was oblivious to Ke Ke's subtle actions.
He had waited too long and felt uneasy, so he got up to look for Chu Wuyang.
This sudden movement just barely brushed past Keke's outstretched hand.
Keke's hand hung awkwardly in mid-air, her face full of disappointment and embarrassment.
Seeing that Jing Min was about to walk away, Ke Ke hurriedly stepped forward and hugged him from behind.
"Don't go!"
His voice carried a hint of urgency and fear.
In an instant, Jing Min seemed to be entangled by something filthy; his body stiffened abruptly.
His face instantly filled with disgust and anger.
His eyes narrowed, and without hesitation, he reached out and forcefully pried open the hands around his waist.
His hands were bulging with veins from the exertion, and his expression became extremely ferocious.
That fierce energy seemed intent on completely destroying this annoying "constraint".
With a forceful twist, a "crack" was heard, and Keke's arm broke.
Keke's eyes widened as she stared at Jingmin in disbelief, her face contorted in agony.
Tears welled up in her eyes, and she let out a scream of extreme pain.
However, the cry was barely audible amidst the loud music.
It only attracted the attention of a few people sitting in the corner.
The group of people hurriedly gathered around, filled with worry, fear, and doubt. One of them cautiously looked at Jing Min and asked:
"President Jing, what happened?"
Jing Min finally came to his senses. He let go of her and looked at Ke Ke, who was curled up on the ground in pain.
His brows remained furrowed, and the disgust on his face had not faded. He said coldly:
"Overestimating yourself!"
After saying that, he straightened his clothes, didn't look at Keke again, and walked away.
