Jing Min's face was as if covered by a layer of frost. He stared intently at Chu Wuyang, his voice as cold as ice:
Are you sure?
Chu Wuyang nodded eagerly, urging him on.
A sarcastic smile appeared on Jing Min's lips, a smile full of disdain and determination:
"Then so be it!"
Having said that, he waved his hand dismissively, roughly ripping off his coat and throwing it to a servant nearby.
Wearing only a white shirt, her figure appeared even more upright in the wind.
With a swift stride, he mounted his horse and sat down, remaining motionless like a statue.
His eyes were fixed straight ahead, a gaze that seemed to see right through everything.
Cold and distant, he squeezed out a few words through clenched teeth:
What are you waiting for?
Yun Yang was already dumbfounded, and Chu Wuyang saw this.
Anxious and worried, he quickly reached out and gave Yunyang a hard shove, raising his voice several decibels:
"Go quickly!"
At that moment, a cold glint flashed in Jing Min's eyes, like a ghostly light in a cold night.
It sends chills down your spine.
Yun Yang's heart was pounding, and her steps felt like they were made of lead as she slowly, step by step, moved to Jing Min's side.
"Two-person horseback riding skills" is a rather difficult challenge, requiring two people to ride the same horse, which is an extremely demanding test of balance and cooperation.
In this technique, the person in front bears the heavy responsibility of controlling the horse's speed, direction, and other basic movement.
Those behind must lean closely against those in front, their bodies pressed tightly together.
This allows both sides to achieve a coordinated balance, thus ensuring stability on horseback.
Jing Min stood upright, like a pine tree, his cold face showing no emotion, and he made no attempt to help Yun Yang mount the horse.
Yun Yang felt uneasy, but she could only grit her teeth and grip the saddle with both hands.
He carefully lifted his leg and tried several times before finally managing to mount the horse; the whole process was extremely clumsy.
Chu Wuyang, who was standing to the side, saw this scene and her eyes widened like copper bells, full of surprise.
She had assumed that the so-called "horse riding competition" would simply involve two people each riding a horse, chasing each other like in a regular horse race.
Who could have predicted such a "riding style"?
Jingmin had already firmly pulled on the reins, and with a gentle squeeze of his legs against the horse's belly, the horse let out a long neigh and galloped forward.
Caught off guard, Yun Yang was jolted by the sudden start and instinctively grabbed Jing Min's waist.
Chu Wuyang only came to her senses after the horse had shot off like an arrow.
His throat bobbed, and he swallowed hard, forcing down his surprise.
Her brows were furrowed, and her eyes revealed a complex emotion.
Staring intently at the incredibly intimate posture of the two on horseback, he felt a mix of emotions.
Yun Yang clung tightly to Jing Min's waist, and with the horse's swaying, her body occasionally bumped against Jing Min's back.
Jing Min's body stiffened slightly at first, but in order to keep the horse moving steadily, he whispered to Yun Yang:
"Hold on tight, don't move."
Yun Yang blushed and responded, trying to adjust her posture to better match Jing Min's movements.
Gradually, they seemed to develop a tacit understanding. When Jingmin gently pulled the reins to turn, Yunyang could sense it in advance and slightly turn her body to cooperate.
However, Yun Yang accidentally touched Jing Min's body somewhere.
Jing Min grunted, and Yun Yang apologized in a panic.
Jingmin simply took a deep breath and said:
"It's alright, continue."
Afterwards, Yunyang mustered up her courage and began exchanging equestrian techniques with Jingmin.
Jingmin also responded patiently.
The atmosphere between the two shifted from initial awkwardness and tension to a more harmonious one.
Their interactions on horseback became increasingly natural and fluid, as if they were telepathically connected.
Together they rode horses across the grassland.
After practicing two-person horseback riding techniques for a while, bursts of laughter could be heard from the riding arena.
The laughter, like lively musical notes, leaped and weaved through the open space.
Chu Wuyang strained to hear, but unable to understand lip reading, he could only watch anxiously as the two people on horseback rode.
She didn't know if Yun Yang's unauthorized decision would have any unforeseen consequences!
Yun Yang was speaking animatedly, while Jing Min tilted his head slightly to listen.
They would occasionally exchange brief replies, and in this back-and-forth exchange, a harmonious atmosphere was created, like a soft veil.
Gently envelop them.
Jing Min, who had been aloof and distant before mounting the horse, now seemed like a completely different person.
He sat upright, his posture elegant, the reins loosely held in his hand.
Every subtle movement was filled with restraint and power.
Whenever the horse accelerated or turned, he would quietly remind Yunyang in advance.
Only after Yunyang adjusted her posture did he continue with the next instruction.
He exuded gentlemanly manners.
Chu Wuyang stood to the side, his eyes fixed on the two figures intertwined in the sunlight, as if drawn by a magnet.
For some reason, a chilling feeling, like fallen leaves in the autumn wind, quietly accumulated in Chu Wuyang's heart.
She hugged her arms tightly. She had been feeling uneasy, but now she was probably just happy to have what she wanted!
After a short while, the two seemed to have finished their practice.
Jing Min gently squeezed the horse's flanks with his legs, gave a light tug on the reins, and the horse neighed as it carried them back towards Chu Wuyang.
Jing Min was agile and Yun Yang had a bright smile. The combination of the handsome man and beautiful woman was particularly eye-catching, like a beautiful landscape.
As Chu Wuyang watched them get closer and closer, she felt as if something had suddenly choked her.
She secretly grumbled to herself.
