The next day, Chu Wuyang told Yunyang over the phone:
"I don't need to come over for a short period of time. I'll use my free time to cultivate some other hobbies."
Her voice sounded tired.
Jing Min showed her no mercy yesterday.
Yun Yang's impatience was likely already noticed by the ever-perceptive Jing Min, who was testing her at every turn.
She thought she should take it slow for now.
Now, because of Jing Min's "violent act," she has a legitimate reason to rest, and it can also make him feel guilty.
Another reason was that she also wanted to use this opportunity to warn Yun Yang and regain the initiative.
If Yunyang is allowed to continue to run rampant, not only will all the previous efforts be wasted,
Given Jingmin's almost insane desire for control, she might even lose her freedom.
Yun Yang became anxious upon hearing this, and her voice suddenly rose:
"Why?"
Chu Wuyang really didn't have the energy to explain further, and simply replied perfunctorily:
"Just do as I say!"
Yun Yang was full of speculation, her tone carrying a hint of dissatisfaction and suspicion:
"Have you changed your mind?"
Chu Wuyang was somewhat confused:
"Go back on what?"
Yunyang said angrily:
"Was it because you saw us being unusually close yesterday that you became jealous?"
Chu Wuyang couldn't help but laugh in exasperation, and retorted:
"Are you kidding me?"
"If I wanted to back out, why would I have come to you?"
"You should know that you were unwilling at first, and I had to go to great lengths to explain it to you."
"Besides, why would I play this childish game with you when I'm bored and have nothing better to do?"
Yun Yang felt a little uneasy after being rebuked like that, and muttered under her breath:
"Who doesn't know that this is a perverted game played by you rich people?"
Yun Yang's thinking was not without reason.
She had once glimpsed the lives of their glamorous yet mysterious circle.
I've heard of some astonishing and even more perverse tastes.
Therefore, it's inevitable to have doubts and feel that Chu Wuyang's unusual behavior might be hiding some ulterior motives.
Chu Wuyang was too lazy to argue with her anymore and said directly:
"It was good that you maintained your aloof attitude before; he has already changed his opinion of you."
"But you were too hasty yesterday and have already revealed your purpose."
Upon hearing this, Yun Yang couldn't help but feel a little nervous, and muttered to herself:
"No, he seemed much gentler, very considerate towards me, and even took care of me when my posture was wrong..."
Chu Wuyang frowned, unable to listen any longer, and impatiently interrupted:
"Stop it, just do as I say."
Yun Yang was still unwilling to give up and asked suspiciously:
"Are you sure you're not mistaken?"
He didn't have an outburst;
"And the way he looks at me and the way he treats me are exactly the same as how he treats you!"
As Yunyang spoke on the other end of the phone, her eyes were wide open, filled with doubt and urgency.
As Chu Wuyang listened to Yun Yang's analysis point by point, she had a pretty good idea of Jing Min's purpose.
This man is too cunning. He always appears gentle and considerate in front of her, but behind her back, he starts to settle scores with her.
She could never possibly have told Yunyang the details of this liquidation process.
Because the man's goal was to sow discord among them.
He just wanted to see her fight with him for his affections, to satisfy his twisted psychology.
Chu Wuyang's expression darkened, his eyes revealing an undeniable resolve.
She forcefully told Yunyang that she had to do as she said, and then hung up the phone.
Yunyang, who had just been hung up on, sat blankly on the edge of the bed, her eyes filled with disappointment.
The more I looked forward to it last night, the more disappointed I am now.
Her gaze slowly swept over the carefully chosen, exquisite clothes on the bed.
His lips drooped slightly, and a hint of coldness flashed in his eyes.
That was resentment and anger at being schemed against.
——
Jingmin returned home from get off work, and the black sedan slowly drove into the estate. As it passed the equestrian center,
He glanced over instinctively; it was deserted and empty.
He had some doubts in his heart, and the car drove straight towards the North Building.
Upon entering the north building, Jingmin saw a servant and asked:
"Where is your wife?"
The maid bowed slightly and answered softly:
"Sir, your wife has been upstairs the whole day and hasn't come downstairs. She didn't even eat dinner."
Jing Min's brows furrowed instantly, his voice tinged with annoyance:
Why weren't you informed in time?
He then immediately gave the following instructions:
"Go and prepare dinner quickly."
He hurried upstairs, then tiptoed to open the master bedroom door.
My gaze swept across the bed, and I saw the outline of a blanket protruding from it, clearly indicating that someone was still inside.
A hint of displeasure appeared on his face, and he softly reproached:
"How can we not eat!"
Before the words were finished, a hand suddenly reached out from under the covers, gripped the pillow tightly, and threw it forcefully in the direction of the sound.
Jingmin nimbly dodged to the side. Having been satisfied last night, he was in an exceptionally good mood today and wasn't angry about this little tantrum.
Instead, a smile of indulgence appeared on his lips as he patiently approached the bedside.
Her voice was as gentle as a spring breeze.
"You're still angry! Didn't I already apologize last night?"
As she spoke, she reached out to pull back the covers.
Chu Wuyang clutched the corner of the blanket tightly inside, folding it further inwards.
This is to show that they do not accept the apology.
Seeing this, the man tilted his head slightly, his eyes still holding a smile:
"I may be angry, but I can't just skip meals!"
