Chapter 167 Success

Yunyang gripped the car door tightly, her expression anxious and earnest.

"Miss Chu, please, just let me get in the car and leave here, and drop me off anywhere, that'll be enough."

"I won't delay your trip to the hospital, please!"

Inside the car, Chu Wuyang turned her head with difficulty, her eyes filled with pain and confusion, her lips trembling slightly, and she let out another heart-wrenching cry:

"Ouch, that hurts!"

The voice was like a sharp hook, gripping Jing Min's heart tightly.

Jing Min's eyes were full of annoyance and impatience. He glared fiercely at Yun Yang.

The accelerator pedal was pressed down slowly, and the car began to move slowly.

Yun Yang's eyes were filled with disbelief as she stared intently at Jing Min in the driver's seat, her lips slightly parted as she murmured:

"How...how could you be so heartless?"

Her voice was filled with deep grievance and heartbreak; her once confident affection now seemed as fragile as a bubble.

"I risked my life for you without hesitation, and now you treat me like this because of her!"

But the situation was critical, leaving her little room for sentimentality.

Just as the car accelerated and Yunyang was being dragged along, stumbling and sliding, she shouted with all her might:

"Help me! Miss Chu, if you help me this time, I will never refuse any request you may make in the future!"

Chu Wuyang, sitting in the back seat, seemed to be in great pain, clutching her stomach tightly with both hands, her body trembling uncontrollably.

She reached out, desperately grabbing forward, her fingertips flailing wildly in the air.

It made muffled sobs, as if pleading for help from Jingmin.

Jing Min's heart tightened, his expression changed drastically, and he hurriedly slammed on the brakes.

Chu Wuyang's head slammed heavily against the back of the driver's seat due to inertia.

She groaned softly, the pain on her face intensifying.

"Hmm..."

Jing Min quickly unbuckled his seatbelt, roughly pulled open the back door, and climbed inside.

He held Chu Wuyang tightly in his arms, gently placing one hand on her stomach.

His voice was trembling with tension, filled with worry and anxiety:

Why does it hurt so much?

His hands continued to gently stroke her abdomen, trying to ease her pain.

"Would this be better?"

Chu Wuyang lay weakly in his arms, her slender fingers carefully tugging at Jing Min's clothes.

Upon seeing this, Jing Min's heart tightened, and he instinctively lowered his head, his hands involuntarily wrapping around her hands in fists.

His face was full of anxiety and tension, and his voice trembled slightly as he spoke:

"I'll call the doctor and have him come right away!"

As he spoke, he hurriedly reached for his phone.

Chu Wuyang seemed to use all her strength to struggle and raise her hand, slapping Jing Min's phone away.

The phone fell to the ground next to the seat with a "thud".

Jing Min was stunned.

Looking at Chu Wuyang with a face full of heartache, her eyes filled with confusion and worry, she asked softly:

"What's wrong? Don't scare me!"

Chu Wuyang's lips trembled slightly, and her face grew increasingly pale.

Seeing this, Jingmin quickly leaned down, put his ear close to her mouth, and said gently:

What do you want? Tell me.

Chu Wuyang slowly raised her finger, pointing tremblingly at the clouds outside the car window.

A weak determination flickered in his eyes, and he spoke in a muffled voice:

"Help...her!"

Jing Min paused slightly, then slowly turned his head to look at the clouds that were already fixed in place outside the window.

He frowned slightly, took a deep breath, and tried to compose himself.

Try to appear calm.

He then said in a detached tone:

"Get in the car!"

The voice didn't convey much emotion.

Yunyang stood beside the car, not happy to have received help; instead, her eyes were empty and numb.

She mechanically reached out and slowly opened the passenger door, about to sit down.

At that moment, Jing Min's voice suddenly rang out:

"Sit in the back!"

The voice was deep and left no room for doubt.

Yun Yang's hand froze in mid-air.

She slightly raised her head, her eyes filled with doubt and surprise, and looked straight at Jing Min.

Jingmin quickly turned to the side and gently pulled up one side of his coat.

He carefully wrapped Chu Wuyang up in his arms, then gently lifted her up in his arms.

His movements were gentle yet swift; he strode around the front of the car and went straight to the passenger side.

He slightly turned his body to avoid Yun Yang.

Gently place Chu Wuyang on the seat.

Then, with nimble fingers, she picked up the seatbelt and carefully and attentively fastened it for Chu Wuyang.

After making sure everything was in order, he gently closed the car door.

Jing Min nimbly returned to the driver's seat.

His gaze inadvertently swept out of the car window, and seeing Yun Yang still standing there blankly, he frowned slightly and said softly.

"Get in the car!"

Upon hearing this, Yun Yang's heart tightened.

A flicker of hesitation crossed her eyes, and her gaze involuntarily drifted towards the side of the car.

The place was teeming with people... and I was in such a sorry state.

For a moment,

She wondered if she should be more principled.

Refuse this help, which has an air of charity.

After all, Jing Min's attitude just now was so cold and ruthless.

But for some reason, my legs still seemed to move slowly toward the back seat as if they were not under my control.

He reached out and opened the back door, then got in.

As soon as I looked up, I met Chu Wuyang's squinting eyes in the rearview mirror.

The emotions conveyed in those eyes were complex and intense, made without any attempt to conceal them.
